This BG-R10 Battery Grip from Newell is designed to improve both the ergonomics and battery life of select Canon Cameras. Its shape makes it easier and more comfortable to handle while also enhancing usability with control dials and buttons. The grip fits two LP-E6 series batteries, effectively doubling your battery life. A 1/4"-20 mounting thread allows you to attach the grip directly to a tripod or quick release plate.

A: Unfortunately, the use of the Canon BG-R10 Battery Grip along with the EOS R5/R5C and R6 cameras will not fit the SmallRig Black Mamba series cages.

A: To our knowledge, Canon has not developed a double-A insert for the Canon BG-R10 battery grip.

A: The batteries are drained in parallel.

Q: 4. What is the height of the battery grip that extends BELOW the bottom of the camera body?

A: Unfortunately, this battery grip is not compatible with the Canon R7.

A: Yes.

A: Yes that's the correct one.

Q: 10. Is it safe and work correctly if you mix one Watson and one Canon battery in the grip attached to an R5 or 90D?

A: While we have not had any issues thus far, mixing of batteries is typically not advised by the manufacturer.

[1/4"-20 Female] A must have add-on for my r5. The vertical hand positioning is clutch for long shoots when you know you'll be taking lots of verticals. All the buttons/thumb stick are spot on placement for my bigger hand. 5

[1/4"-20 Female] I wanted this for a upcoming trip to Costa Rica and the R5 really goes thru batteries and I figured this could help but wow is it big and heavy. Between the camera, the 100-500 lens and this addition I think I am re-thinking what I wanted this for. If I am set up near my vehicle and using a tripod this will be great but for long hikes I think I will just charge the camera using a USB-C cable and a Anker Power Bank 5

[1/4"-20 Female] There was confusion at first due to no USA warranty card in the box. However after contact with B&H and Canon, we were able to verify it is a USA product and the warranty is printed in the Australian Warrant enclosure. 5

[1/4"-20 Female] This works great with my new Canon R5. I like the fact I can shoot all day and don't have to swap out my battery. The only thing that had me won dering was the ON/Off switch that is on the battery grip. Basically, you can leave your camera on, nad then use the battery grip to turn the camera on/off as needed. Works great! 5
