[Aluminum] I always purchase a Hoodman Eyecup each of my cameras. When I wore glasses, they were a must. Now that I wear contacts, I don't have to worry about knocking into the EVF, but the deep cup blocks out surrounding light...a real plus when photographing outdoor sports in bright sunshine. 5

[Yes] The RRS base plate I purchased for my a7r4 fulfills my needs well. It offers protection to the body whenever I put my camera down on rocks and it supplies a stable platform to attach to my tripod. It provides extra grip surface area but that's something I really don't need as the a7r4 has adequate grip area. Price is right IMO. Item arrived quickly but I didn't get any notification until it arrived. 5

[0.405 lb] Purchased for the bright summer days. Moulds well to my eye socket for sealing out the light ... so I get a bright EVF display. It's very flexible, so it does not impede sliding the camera into pouches/bags. 5

[Aluminum] Fits perfectly and tight. Saw a review where they said it fell off quickly and that makes no sense other than they didn't install correctly. This is not falling off and clicks into place very assuredly. Nice soft silicon rubber eyepiece that really helps to block the light in landscape or portrait mode. Also, this fit's the A7R V even though B&H does not note that under specs. It's noted at Hoodman's site so B&H should update so folks know and don't need to send questions about that. Highly recommended! 5

[0.405 lb] Fits find, can extend out of the way of wired connections easily with the attached (magnetic coin) type screw driver. Based on what top shelf and OEM suppliers charge, it is a bargain! 5

[Yes] Fits on camera extremely nice and I like the fact that it can be adjusted with the magnetically attached tool. I need to be sable to flip from horizontal to vertically often and instantly. Arca Swiss machining lets it happen. 5
