The Leofoto CF-05 Lens Foot for Canon Lensesworks as an improved replacement for select Canon lens collar feet for a lower profile and improved balance. This is a meticulously engineered aluminum support with built-in Arca-type dovetail mounts featuring 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 receivers, as well as a QD socket for quickly attaching a compatible strap or sling. A silicone pad creates an ergonomic grip for added comfort. Two safety stops on the bottom of the foot prevent lens release. The extended length of this foot is ideal for longer lenses.

[0.475 lb] This lens foot is longer than others I have, coming in at 7. I was having issues with an RRS foot on the RF600: It just wasn't long enough with a heavy lens and a light camera body without turning the foot backwards. This foot fixed the issue. It is plenty long, sturdy and has tether capabilities. It also has a QD port, although I'm not sure I would want to carry a heavy, expensive lens that way. 5

[Yes] Purchased one for Nikon 500mm f5.6 PF and second for Nikon 70-200mm f2.8 E. I am using them to attach QD disconnects for bird photography. The best camera balance is w the Nikon D850. The Nikon D5/D6 is slightly heavier, but works fine. Would buy again. 5

[QD] Fits the Canon RF 400mm f/2.8 very well. Feels very secure and is well made product. The foot's attachment area is exactly the same dimension as the base of the lens so it fits exactly with no gaps. There is enough space (and soft cushion) for your hand grip. Note, you have to use the screws supplied with the foot for attachment - the original Canon foot screws are not compatible with the Leofoto foot. 5

[QD] Purchased for the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR Lens. Fits perfectly with no trouble. Seems to be well made. Annoying that Nikon foot isn't Arca compatible. 5

[Yes] I used many lenses foot for Canon 500mm and 600mm. I have never got it to balance when I added 2x TC with body 1DX2 until I tried this one. It's balanced perfectly with 2x on or not. Love the product. Highly recommend it. 5

[QD] Solid build quality and the accessories set made it easy to remove the original foot from my 100-300. The extra length I get too be able to adjust this within the mount means perfect balance every time. It's also a bit lower than with a plate attached. Makes it easier for safety straps to reach. No need to worry about a plate loosening (even double anchored plates can do it!). Much cheaper than I expected for all that you get! 5

[0.475 lb] Just the right length, I carry my Z9 with the Nikkor 500 PF and the Leofoto foot gives me a much better grip and more comfortable as well. The 2nd pic shows the size of the stock foot in comparison to the Leofoto. 5
