A: Unfortunately, no, you cannot manually adjust the white balance in the middle of video recording.

A: Most cameras including the a7c no longer can grab an image from a video. You need to do that in post.

Q: 10. Does BV-5 provide any counterbalance force at all? I know it doesn't have adjustable counterbalance, but fixed perhaps?

A: The Leofoto Mini Fluid Head with Arca-Type Plate has no counterbalance.

[Arca-Type] I ordered this for use with moderately sized lenses to be paired with the A7Cii. Without the grip, smaller primes are nicely balanced on the body. For most zoom lenses, however, the larger grip provides better balance and stability. I have used the grip with the Sony 20-70 mm f4; the Tamron 28-200 f2.8-5.6; and the Sigma 16-28 f2.8. I'm very pleased with the balance, feel' and build quality. The quick release for the battery is also very useful. 5

[Yes] I acquired the A7CII for its compactness and didn’t think the grip extension was a step in the right direction. But I had to try it and I’m hooked. The camera retains it’s small footprint with the grip, yet manages to make the camera incredibly agile and comfortable. The grip stays on forever! 5

[QD] This is one of those add ons that you hesitate because of the price. However, once you get it and attach it, you will feel what a difference it makes on the camera. I love it to be honest. 5

[QD] In my situation, I love it! I have medium size hands, but the grip changes the feel of the camera so much, it feels like a different camera. The grip is more secure even with smaller lenses. This grip will be attached to the camera at all times. 5

[QD] More discrete version of the arca swiss plates. The mount that came with my tripod is bulky and doesn't fit well. This adds the mount seamlessly to the camera and has the fittings so you can add other attachments to your camera. 5
