The L-Plate for Sony a7R V from Leofoto is made from 6061-T6 aluminum and features an Arca-type compatible design for easy horizontal and vertical mounting, along with a QD accessory mounting hole for secure attachment of a camera strap. Multiple accessory mounting threads create further utility by allowing you to use additional equipment with your bracket. It includes a hex wrench that can be stored inside the bracket for easy and quick adjustment when you need it.

I guess I mistakenly purchased this L Bracket from B&H thinking it would be like the previous Kirk L Bracket I have for my Sony a9 and this one for the Sony a7rv is not completely compatible.

A: No you can not change the QD socket on the Kirk L-Bracket for Sony a7R V to a thread. But you can use most black rapid straps with this and it will work on that bracket, https://bhpho.to/3BqJGRe .

Q: 5. Is this plate suitable for Sony RX100 VI?

A: We have not fitted that camera for a plate. Our plate #2127 is a generic plate with a thumb wheel for ease of use and will work if you cannot find a camera specific plate to fit.

A: The LanParte Camera Cage with 501-Compatible QR Plate & R/S Top Handle for Sony a7R IV (B&H# LAA7R4C) is designed for the less wide Sony a7R IVA Mirrorless Camera (B&H# SOA7R4A) and will not fit the slightly wider Sony a7 IV Mirrorless Camera (B&H# SOA74).

[Aluminum] Everything works as it should. The Sony feels better and sturdier, but cost 3 times more. If don't have an additional $300 bucks to spend in the original one, go with this one, you won't regret it. 5

[Yes] So far so good. Amazing grip and comfort! Just inserting and taking out battery #1 is a little annoying but who cares, I can break this and buy 3 more and still be better off than paying for the Sony version. 5

[Aluminum] Once you figure out the orientation of this plate (going across the bottom of the camera, with the raised ridges on the front edge), it makes it very easy to accurately and securely locate your camera on a panoramic tripod head like the Nodal Ninja. I use Manfrotto QR plates on all my cameras/tripods/gimbal. Only the 360 setup uses an Arca-type setup such as this. This plate is very easy to attached, and the positioning on the camera is identical for repeatability. A little pricey for what it is, but still: Using a Sony body on a 360 tripod head that uses Arca-type quick releases, this thing is pretty handy and easy to use. 5

[Yes] Does what its suppose to do for a faction of the cost of the Sony. I have a Meike for my Sony A6000 but I like the Vello coverage in the B&H catalog. 5

[Arca-Type] This unit performs fully, as expected. I have been using non-Sony batteries with this unit and they fully communicate with my Sony camera (a7r ii). Construction quality is excellent as well as fit-up to the camera. All the buttons and dials work on the grip to augment the equivalent buttons and dials on the camera body. Highly recommended. 5
