[13 A] I'm loving this v mount battery. I was out filming a wedding this weekend and I was powering my camera and monitor with the v mount battery all day. I had to charge the battery only 1 time throughout the whole day. The v mount battery display screen is perfect because it tells you exactly how much battery life is left. The charging time wasn't that long, so I was able to quickly put the v mount battery on charge and shortly after I was able to continue to film. The weight and size of the v mount battery is great and helps me to film handheld as it adds some extra weight to my camera rig. I plan to order another one of these v mount batteries in the near future so I always have one v mount battery charged and ready on stand by. Dtap, usb, USBc and USBc PD connections. The 2 cables that are included with this v mount battery are helpful because I can use them to either charge the v mount battery with the USBc to USBc cable or I can use the USBc to usb cable to power some of my equipment for example my wireless transmitter. I would recommend this battery, as I mentioned I plan to buy another one in the near future.

[13 A] Really liking this ZGcine v mount battery. It's powerful and compact and powers many of my camera devices. I have been using it with my Panasonic GH5 and GH6 cameras. I have also been using the d-tap output to power my camera monitor. When I was first doing some research about this v mount battery I have read some negative reviews here on B&H website. So I reached out to ZGcine on Facebook and asked them if they were still having issues with their v mount batteries. I was told that ZGcine had a bad batch of these v mount batteries and that was the reason for some of the negative reviews. ZGcine mentioned that they have replaced all of the bad batch of v mount batteries from the suppliers and assured me that the new batch of v mount batteries do not have any issues. I have also seen on Facebook and Instagram that there are several other content creators and videographers that use this ZGcine v mount battery and are happy with it. So I placed my order on B&H for this v mount battery and I am very happy with it. Fast charging of my pocket led lights using the usb and USBc output ports and the v mount battery is powerful enough to last for several hours of filming. I would 100% recommend this v mount battery to other content creators and filmmakers. 5 stars.

[1.34 lb] Before ordering this v mount battery I was reading some of the past reviews as people were saying the battery had some charging issues. I was a little concerned at first but then I was reading online that ZGcine corrected this bad batch of v mount batteries. So I decided to order it from B&H as the price is reasonable and I really wanted to have a fast charging v mount battery and a v mount battery that can power my camera equipment. I'm really happy with the battery so far as it has been powering many of my camera devices and it also charges my phone and drone and other accessories very fast via the USBc PD output. I am also using this v99 battery to power my Z Cam camera rig and external monitor. I'm using this v99 battery with the ZGcine v mount battery plate which is very helpful as the v mount battery plate gives me more output connection options. The v mount battery display screen is very nice as it shows the exact remaining battery percentage. The display screen also shows when the battery is being charged. I have been charging the v battery with the USBc fast charger. I have also been charging the v mount battery with a D-Tap charger. Overall I have been very happy with this v mount battery as it powers my camera and monitor for several hours for those long days of filming. And when it comes time to charge the battery, it charges relatively fast. The v99 battery is the perfect size v mount battery as I can take it on the plane when I travel. I give this v mount battery 5 stars.

[V-Mount] In my 30+ years of film production I have used many batteries but none have been as good as my ZGCINE ZG-V99. It is an awesome battery. I now have four of these batteries and they power my camera rigs flawlessly. I bought my first battery in January and I have had zero problems and the port configuration is top notch and it has a visual display as well. I like the battery so much I bought the more expensive S200 to power some lights and other devices. I have seen some bad reviews on here and I have to say that is nonsense or an earlier version of the battery because mine runs with no issues. I plan on buying many more. Highly Recommended!

[14.4 VDC] I used to have two classes of battery - one I used in my studio and one that I traveled with. It was a pain because 98 Wh batteries only run my camera rig for a couple of hours. Watson have come up with a great solution of having one battery that can give me plenty of power and be broken apart for travel. Its a really clever way of getting the best of both worlds.

[5.8 x 4 x 2.8"] The compact V Mount market has a bunch of options. I've mostly use manufacturer batteries or dummy solutions thus far. I was looking for a battery that has multiple connections to power other accessories. This battery doesn't disappoint in that aspect. I like that it's light and you can charge it using the usb-c port. If you are going this route, be sure to use a 60W charger to give it enough juice. The regular cell phone chargers don't have the power to charge this battery. To get the optimal charging time, I'd suggest a dtap charger for sure. Reason I say grab tow is you can leave one charging while you use the other one.


In testing, this battery was able to power my camera alone for 6 hours and still had 50% left. The display is nice and bright. It's great to have a percentage indicator vs just LED's to let you know how much capacity you have left. Will definitely recommend these batteries. Great value for price and fast shipping from B&H.

[V-Mount] I have two, and they never seem to run out. I'm going for the third one, very happy with my batteries. They work perfectly.
