This 72mm B+W MRC Nano 714 Graduated ND Filter 72mm 4-Stopfrom B+W MRC Nano 714 Graduated ND Filter 72mm 4-Stopdarkens specific areas of an image, such as bright skies, while allowing for a normal, unaffected exposure in the other regions of the image. Equipped with a brass rotating mount, precise positioning of gradation is afforded. Characterized by high color neutrality, the transition is soft with no hard edges, and the density provides up to 25% light transmission and a 4-stop reduction in light. Equipped with multiresistant nano coating for optimal image quality, the filter is also stain and scratch resistant and easy to clean.

A: No. Following cable is designed and made for the following protocol systems Sony FS7/FS5, URSA, EVA1, Z CAM

A: no it will NOT work for canon Cine cameras the protocols are different, this is designed for the Panasonic lumix (photo) camera protocol no LANC

A: Yes, the Tilta Nucleus-Nano R/S Cable for the Sony FS7/FS5, URSA, EVA1, Z CAM Cameras is also compatible with the FX6 and FX9.

Q: 10. Will this work with the Sony a5100?

A: Tilta only lists compatible with a6, 7 and 9 camera, We can't guarantee it would.

[Glass] I have been using the Firecrest graduated ND filter for a number of different outdoor shots and have been very pleased with the results. It solved a problem I had been having with various outdoor scenes with sun or even shots with water/no water. Quality is excellent and the ring filter turns easily. I just wish my fingers were not so clumsy!! 5

[4 x 3.9 x 0.8"] Yes, one can use gradients in Lightroom but I really like being able to control my skies in the field for Landscape photography. HDR effect without software. Also like it for future B&W photographs and prints where skies/clouds are major part of the scene. 5

[Brass] I can’t take a photo of the brilliant blue sky, bright snow and the forest on Mount Rainier without the forest being just a dark shadow. With this graduated filter I can bring out the forest and not have a washed out sky and dull white snow. 5

[4 x 3.9 x 0.8"] I use this product for all of my outdoor nature/landscape work and it is brilliant. It makes the post-production time much less, and it evens everything out perfectly. The only thing that I did not like (which is the case with most filters) is that once it's on the lens, that little guy is STAYING on there. Other than that, I love this product! 5

[0.195 lb] The name speaks for itself. Tiffen has been making quality products for many years and this is no exception. One has to be very deliberate when using this type of filter to get the results it is designed for. 5

[4 x 3.9 x 0.8"] This is my second graduated filter (after a square one from cokin that got scratched very fast). Since my camera does not have HRD mode and I don't have a software that would let me stack RAW files, this filter is perfect for balancing bright skies with much darker foreground. It's solidly made and I find it easy to clean. Definitely much better quality than my previous one. 5
