Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will it fit Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 Series II Lens for Nikon F?

A: Yes it will fit that lens.

Q: 2. HOW EASILY CAN ONE HOLD CAMERA WITH TWO HANDS WHILE ACCESSING CAMERA CONTROLS AND SHOOTING?

A: I set the sleeve up using my right hand to hold the camera. I was able to adjust most of the controls with my left hand from the outside of the sleeve. Two words of caution: 1- using the lens sun shield helped limit the amount of rain on the lens/filter. 2- be careful to check photos frequently because the focus and auto exposure can be adversely impacted by the sleeve. (The sleeve is a good solution to prevent camera damage. Prior to buying it, I destroyed a Nikon D70S In Alaska from rain exposure.)

Q: 3. will this sleeve fit on a Nikon D3s body?

A: It easily fits a Canon 5D III with a 70-200 2.8 Zoom with lots and lots of room to spare. Very roomy!

Q: 4. does this work with a canon 5d mark iv with a 100-400mm lens?

A: The Canon 5D Mark IV with the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM Lens can be used with the OP/TECH USA 18" Rainsleeve.

Q: 5. Will this sleeve work on a Nikon D5300 with a 150-600mm lens (going to Alaska)? Any input? Thanks

A: The sleeve is 22 inches in circumference and 16 inches in length to cover the lens. It should work with your lens. The only thing I found was the draw string to hold it on the lens hood did not work well. A rubber band holds it much better. It kept my lens and camera dry in Alaska

Q: 6. Can a lens hood still be attached to the lens with the sleeve on?

A: Yes, the opening of the sleeve is large and draws down with a drawstring. The sleeve covered the lens hood, 150-600 lens, camera and the top of the tripod.

Q: 7. Will this fit on a Nikon D3400 with a Tamron 150 - 600mm lens?

A: It should

Q: 8. I would be using this hat to cover a Nikon 80-200 2.8D lens with lens shade attached to a 77 mm Tiffen neutral density filter. Is this the right one? Or,can I use the smaller one?

A: The lens shade will give a bit of additional size to the diameter of the 80-200mm lens, so I would advise going with the medium sized Op/Tech USA Hood Hat.

Q: 9. is this the right size for a Leica Q? or the mini?

A: I use this item on my Leica Summilux-M 1.4 as I was always loosing the Leica Cap...not to say I haven't lost a Hood Hat, but they stay with me longer. I just tried it on my friends Q and it fits. A little tight...requires both hands...but the next size up may be to big. Make lots of images. Best C

Q: 10. The Canon shade on a 300 f2.8 measures 5 3/8. Will this stretch enough?

A: Yes this will be able to stretch over the lens hood of your Canon 300 f2.8 measuring 5 3/8".

[Yes] These rainsleeves are great, and work exactly like they should. I cover pro sports, and for champagne showers in locker room celebrations if you don't have your gear completely covered up and protected, you've probably ruined your gear. The additional space for the flash is perfect, and the drawstring for the lens hood works well also. Plus, they're inexpensive enough to just trash after usage such as above! Highly recommended!

[0.13 lb] I used this at a paint party. It did a great job and was very easy to use. For the price it's a great product. I was also surprised how tough it was. I installed and uninstalled 7-8 times during the show and there wasn't any tear.

[0.13 lb] I was shooting a sporting event when it started to rain. A fellow photographer had a rain sleeve and demonstrated how to put it on. It went on in about a minute. The clear plastic allows you see all the camera controls AND actually use them. Check out the video on the products web site an you'll see.

[Clear] Wish I had this product a few days earlier for a shoot in the rain, instead of a large trash bag. Just what I was looking for. But definitely for the next time! Well designed. Don't know how it will hold up.

[Yes] I tried one rain sleeve on an overcast day with a chance of showers. Sure enough, a light rain fell and I was able to keep on shooting the soccer game. Later on when I removed the rain shield, everything except the front of the lens was bone dry. The lens only had a couple of water spots. I will feel very confident using this again.

[Yes] This sure beats keeping a small garbage bag on hand in case of bad weather. Also unfortunately many bands and their fans love spewing beer onto or off of the stage. This is the answer to protecting your gear from the various liquids that cameras do not get along with.

I received this a day before 35-50mph deluge of 3 of rain and not a drop on camera, flash or lens barrel. And only $ for 2!!!A MUST for any camera bag!Dan

[Clear] I used this to replace a more expensive cover that I had misplaced. It worked better than expected and served it's purpose. I use the cover to protect my gear during rainy football games and am very satisfied with the product.
