[Steel] This is a nice tool to have on hand for my 2015 MacBook. It provides additional USB connections and gives the capability to connect the computer to ethernet, etc. I didn't realize I couldn't use it directly connected to this older laptop so I needed to order another adapter to use this docking station. I called B&H directly and the gentleman was very helping in finding the adapter that I needed. I have always had great service with B&H since the '80's when I shopped with them for my professional film cameras!

Instead of cords and ports running everywhere this streamlined everything so nicely. In fact while doing some remodeling I wound up working from my kitchen table and I loved how easy it made everything. I didn't lose any speed and the clairity of the monitors is brilliant. [Steel] It's amazing how many ports this thing has! After searching for so long for a good Chrome OS dock I think I've found the best one. PROs:
- Detachable USB-C host cable. Makes it easier to set it up and longer lasting.
- 3 video outputs make it really futureproof.
- Firmware upgrades that require no 3rd party software and can be done with Chrome OS.
CONs:
-The power output is enough for most Chromebooks and Chromeboxes but it may lack power to drive and charge other devices.

Before even trying this product I was excited because I had always hoped for something that could be a port house for all my family devices. This docking station is great, it has the ability to dock and charge up to 14 different devices. I can have my husband's work computer, laptop, my personal laptop, my business laptop, my cell phone and my daughters' tablet, all charging at once. This is great because now that my husband works from home and I am in the middle of a business start-up, the amount of devices in our household has dramatically increased. No more having to share the wall charging block, or going behind the TV in a tangled mess of wires. Everything is conveniently charging in the same place when needed. The only thing you need is your device cord, no need for wall adapters since all devices are being charged off this single unit. What an amazing invention! Thank you Belkin! [14] I bought this because I own an Asus Chromebook CX5601 and I wanted a way to dock it and use it with a double monitor setup. This docking station has enabled me to do this seamlessly. This has enabled me to connect my Chromebook with two 4K monitors, a USB keyboard and mouse, and a webcam, and all of it works quickly and flawlessly. Excellent docking station.

[14] I set this up on a bookshelf, so it looks like a camera and part of the decor, but lo and behold, I can drop my iPhone in behind the camera and it charges my phone. It's pretty slick, and if you're like me and you use camera equipment as your Zoom background, it's pretty slick!
