A: This specification is not stated by JVC. However, most built-in LCD monitors do not reach above 1000 nits and if you are filming in extremely bright daylight scenarios, we recommend using a high-bright external monitor.

A: Yes. The JVC GY-HC500 can shoot in 1920 x 1080 60i, with a QuickTime (MPEG-4.AVC/H.264) video format and 4:2:2 10-bit and 4:2:0 8-bit sampling.

[Black] When twenty possible choices is only twice the cost of a single choice, it is a no brainer. Who knows what we will need in the future? The one I needed currently fit perfectly with no sticky threads--screwed in smoothy. A bargain to me. 5

[0.135 lb] Ok, I had a defective unit and returned it and wrote a review, see above. Liked it soooo much I asked b$h if I could buy another. They said 'sure'. So I did and this one is perfect. I have been playing it every day for months and not a single hung note. Couldn't be happier. Thinking seriously of selling my rd2000 which I haven't touched hardly at all since I started playing the k-board pro4. Reasonably priced Seaboard! 5

[0.135 lb] First some bad things, the keys are small, I'm a pianist and at first I was really afraid I was never used to it, but I was wrong. The possibilities are great and if you really make an effort you can make your synths alive, one of the best choices, some people complain about the tact of the keys but I'm a classical pianist and I get use to it. The keyboard could seem a little awkward but it's because your sound will be alive like in any other instrument, but if you want a keyboard it has the option. 5

[0.135 lb] Adds versatility to the 12 step controller, enabling you to trigger a wide variety of sources. Not absolutely necessary to the 12 Step, but well worth the little bit of extra money for the extra capabilities it enables. 5
