The Cisco Business Dashboard is designed to manage Cisco Business switches, routers, and wireless access points. It simplifies traditional challenges in deploying and managing business networks while automating the deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management of the network. The 1300 Series switches support an embedded probe as well as direct management, eliminating the need to set up a separate hardware or virtual machine onsite. The device onboarding wizard simplifies the setup and onboarding of new devices to the network.

The Cisco Catalyst 1300 Series Switches support dual images, allowing you to perform software upgrades with minimal network downtime.

Support for advanced network security applications such as IEEE 802.1X and port security tightly limits access to specific segments of your network. Advanced defense mechanisms, including dynamic Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) inspection, IP Source Guard, and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) snooping, detect and block deliberate network attacks.

As the IP address scheme evolves to accommodate a growing number of network devices, the Cisco Catalyst 1300 Series Switches can support the transition to the next generation of networking. These switches continue to support previous-generation IPv4, allowing you to evolve to the new IPv6 standard at your own pace and helping ensure that your current network will continue to support your business applications in the future.

The Cisco Catalyst 1300 Series Switches enable a more advanced set of traffic management capabilities to help growing businesses organize their networks more effectively and efficiently. For example, the switches provide dynamic Layer 3 routing, allowing you to segment your network into workgroups and communicate across VLANs without degrading application performance.

This switch supports Front Panel Stacking for up to eight switches, allowing you to configure, manage, and troubleshoot all switches in a stack as a single unit with a single IP address.

The sleek and compact design for the Cisco Catalyst 1300 Series Switches provides additional deployment flexibility, including installation outside the wiring closet for sites such as retail stores, open-plan offices, and classrooms without disturbing the environment.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How do you develop Quicksnap 800 Camera?

A: Most people would have the FUJIFILM QuickSnap Waterproof 800 35mm Disposable Camera processed at a Photo Lab providing process C-41 services. These labs can also provide printing and/or scanning services.

Q: 2. if you have 4 batteries attached will it charge two simultaneously? Or does that only work when two batteries are attached?

A: It can do two at a time with either 2 or 4 on the charger.

Q: 3. Am I correct in assuming that you can store digital photo images on these? And that they far and away surpass the 700mb? Thank you!

A: Yes, they hold up to 25GB of any kind of data you want to write to them (including photos). 25GB is about 25,000mb). However, be aware you will need a Blu-ray burner that supports M-DISC media to burn these discs. If you have a Blu-ray burner that doesn't specifically support M-DISC media, you may be able to download a firmware update from the manufacturer to support M-DISC media. If the drive doesn't come with burning software, you can get free software on the web that will do the job.We have found that these are a good option if your internet service (like ours) is insufficient to upload photos to cloud backup, as long as you have a place off site to store them (we put them in our safe deposit box). However, because these discs will hold A LOT of pictures, just make sure to create a folder structure/index that will allow you to find photos in the future (at minumum, by year and/or subject). A little planning before you create the discs will save you tons of time in the future in the event you need to use them to locate specific photos.

Q: 4. What unit/writer is required to “burn’/write these M-Discs?

A: Any Blu-Ray reader/writer that supports M DISC will be compatible with the Verbatim 25GB BD-R 4x M DISC with Branded Surface (25-Pack Spindle). For external optical drives, we carry the Pioneer BDR-XD07S 6x Slim Portable USB 3.0 Blu-ray Burner with M-DISC Support (BH #PIBDRXD07S). https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1520037-REG/pioneer_bdr_xd07s_6x_slim_portable_usb.html

Q: 5. Is there any ability to place content description information on the M-Disc BDXL 100 GB media?

A: I mean, you can write on the top of the disc with a Sharpie...

Q: 6. Can you use it to back up less data than 100 GB and later add more data to it, or do you have to wait until you have 100 GB (or so) of data and then burn it all together?

A: Using a program that allows for multi-session discs, yes, you could add to it but keeping in mind that you won't be able to read that disc until the session is closed.

Q: 7. How long does it take to burn 100 GB at 4x or whatever large amount you have burned?

A: It would take approximately 2 hours.

Q: 8. Can this disc burn 4K Blu-ray or do I need the one with the Blu-ray logo, VEM4X100GB25? I would really rather have one I can print an image on.

A: These are actually M-Disc discs and are meant for archival purposes, not standard media playback.

Q: 9. What country are these made in?

A: This product is made in Taiwan.

Q: 10. M disc

A: Yes, this is 25 pack spindel of M-Disc BDXL

[1.5 MB] This boogies well with the other stuff in Ubi's Edge line. An economical alternative for someone who doesn't need POE on every port.

[Metal] The switch is am excellent addition to the network. We were a out to configure vlans and manage traffic.

[30 W] We have used the Cisco SG series switches for many years and were disappointed when the line was discontinued but the new CBS line is just as good. Some minor variations in how the software is laid out but otherwise, they are just as easy to use as the SG line.

[Yes] In a small school, much equipment including network infrastructure had been donated as had the IT expertise to configure it. When that equipment failed, a quick resolution was needed to bring 24 Ethernet ports back online. The CBS110-24PP an ideal solution, and since delivery was so quick, minimal downtime was experienced.

Because IT expertise is hard to come by in this environment, an unmanaged switch is ideal. The CBS110-24PP has 12 ports POE which simplified the Wi-Fi Access Points since the old equipment had none, and power supplies had to be used for each WAP.

Cisco has never failed me so the brand name is worth a great deal since reliability is essential in this environment as well.

[1.5 MB] I am replacing an aging cisco managed switch and router for a small business and this was perfect for my application. The VLAN tagging in unison with my EdgeRouter Lite was easy to configure after some research online. Pros: Fits my application. Easy to configure through wizards after some research. Cons: Information on configuring VLANS and general setup not included with the switch. Needed to do research online to configure. Unit required firmware updates to get full functional wizards.

[8] I started using the Ubiquiti products this year and glad I made the switch. This switch is working at my house with no issues. Allows vlans, lags, and many other great options in more expensive products. The web interface is pretty easy to figure being an IT person.
