The 72mm, 1/4-grade K&F Concept Black Diffusion Filter helps to reduce the value of the highlights while slightly lowering the overall contrast. This filter is especially useful for smoothing out and softening facial wrinkles and other blemishes. This filter can be used for fashion and beauty applications in both photography and video. Unlike a traditional diffusion or soft focus filter, black diffusion filters provide little loss of detail across the image thanks to their double-polishing process, promoting high-definition image quality. The 1/4 density is rated for 84% light transmittance, allowing for a soft, pastel-like quality of light and providing more contrast and highlight reduction than the 1/8 density but less than the 1/2 density.

The filter features high-quality optical glass with 28 multicoated layers that render the filter's surfaces waterproof, scratch resistant, and oilproof. A slim, aviation-grade aluminum frame surrounds the glass and features machined grooves for easy handling.

Q: 1. Will this fit the Canon RF 24-240mm? looking for an alteritive to spending $40.00 on the Canon.

A: Yes, you can use that hood.

Q: 2. Will the 72mm hood work on Fuji 10-24mm?

A: Yes. BUt would highly suggest the following to avoid vignetting issues. Sensei 72mm Wide Angle Rubber Lens Hood BH #SELHRW72 • MFR #LHR-W72 https://bhpho.to/3dkmxnt

Q: 3. What the difference between original and filter version?

A: Carbon Replenishing Cap for Longer Life.

Q: 4. Are the sleeves plastic, mesh or neoprene?

A: The sleeves are made of nylon.

Q: 5. I use a Sensei 58mm to 72mm adapter ring to mount 72 mm filters on my Lumix 12-35 lens. This works fine, except I cannot use the original lens hood and the front glass is exposed to direct sunlight. Will this lens hood feel the bill, without vignetting? Thanks in advance.

A: I did have some problems with the tulip design. It did show up in the picture. What I have to do is check the picture out before taking to make sure.

Q: 6. Does it decode HDCD, SACDs?

A: No, the TASCAM BD-MP4K Professional-Grade 4K UHD Blu-ray Player (B&H # TABDMP4K) does not decode HDCD or SACD formats. Ideally, these formats would be decoded using a computer with a media player application that has this functionality.

Q: 7. Will it work with 10mm lens (fuji 10-24 lens) without vignetting?

A: You will probably get vignetting on 10mm, the hood that comes with the lens is tulip shaped. Your better off with a tulip hood like the one listed below; https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/843337-REG/sensei_lhsc_72_72mm_screw_on_tulip_lens.html

Q: 8. Does it fits on a Tamron 18-400?

A: Just keep the package! It should fit, but sometimes it just doesn't. Good luck. Odds are it will fit on the tamron 18-400 just fine

Q: 9. Does this run on 100-240V Ac 50/60HZ? P9 says "do not connect a power supply other than 100V AC (50/60HZ)," P 53 says "power AC 100-240V (50/60 Hz)" and drawings (P26) and photos say 100-240V (50/60 Hz).

A: The BD-MP4K is rated for 100-240V 50/60 Hz. The AC power cable that is included has a standard plug for use in North America. The information in the manual on page 9 may be an error or it may be incomplete and warning not to use a power supply that is lower than 100V. But the information everywhere else in the manual and printed on the back of the unit is very clear.

Q: 10. Just wondering if it's the Fujifilm XF10-24 is too wide for it? Will it work on the XF10-24?

A: That lens would be too wide for this hood. You would get vignetting unfortunately.

[Glass] There are times, notably in doing portraiture when the incredible rendition of details of the modern Hasselblad lenses can be almost excessive . . . enter the CineBloom Diffusion Filter. The 20% filter is perfect for my taste though I will get the 10% filter in the future as well that the two might be used in tandem on occasion. So, kudos to the makers at Moment, and Hasselblad, for the most remarkable tools.

[Aluminum] I bought the 5% for my RF 35mm 1.8 and it does a great job at diffusing the lights but very subtly. You can barely tell and that might be a good thing depending on what you are shooting.

The filter itself is very solid. I wacked it against a railing and I thought it broke, but it actually scraped the paint off of the railing.

[Glass] This filter will give you low contrast effect.
Also extra foggy effect if the light facing the lens.

[Glass] Great filter that has a nice bloom to lights while keeping image quality. The build quality is good and what you would expect for a ring filter. My only complaint is that the 5% 82mm is out of stock so I was forced to go with a 77mm instead. It would be nice to have the 82mm to match my 10% filter size for parity.

[72 mm] I use this while shooting weddings. 5% for me is the sweet spot. Its very subtle where you really have to look for it. Due to it being so subtle one can use this in about every situation and never have to take it off. The only time one may want to consider taking it off is shooting a reception.

[Aluminum] Took my photos with my 28-70 to the next level, it now lives on that lens and probably will forever. The 1/4 grade is absolutely perfect for everyday use. Will definitely be looking into different sizes for other lenses.

[72 mm] After researching for a filter to soften images captured on my Fuji X100V, I purchased the 10% CineBloom filter from B&H. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. The filter does exactly what it advertises; my images have a more cinematic look that I prefer. I would certainly recommend this filter to anyone looking to achieve a softer, less digital look to photos. And as always, the B&H experience was superb!

[72 mm] Similar to a pro mist look but has it's own unique feel that sets it apart. the 10% is subtle, but higher percentages are available.

[Aluminum] I'm using it for concerts, where it improves footage that previously looked more like a surveillance camera!
