Wide-angle or ultra-wide-angle lenses have introduced the problem of not able to place filters towards the front of the lens, because there are no front threads or the front element protrudes further out than normal. The FotodioX WonderPana Core for Rokinon 14mm Lenseseliminates that problem.

The system includes three anodized aluminum adapter rings, which have been customized to fit the Rokinon, Samyang, and Bower 14mm Lenses. The 145mm adapter ring slides through the rear and towards the front, and secures the adapter to the lens with any of the 145mm Fotodiox filters available; the included Center-Pinch Snap-On Lens Cap also fits the same adapter ring. The 150mm and 130mm adapter rings allow Lee's SW-150 filter holder and the Cokin's Z-Pro filter holder to attach and enable the use of square filters as well. The system has the ability to rotate the holder and position the filter as desired.

[Aluminum] The mount works great for the 17mm TS-E, and the polarizer doesn't seem to effect the color (haven't checked it with a x-rite color checker yet). As another reviewer mentioned, the tiny brass (?) knobs can come unscrewed and fall out (so I just torqued them tightly right when I opened the box so I wouldn't loose any). It comes with the mount and cap in one red pouch, and the filter in another pouch. The mount and cap are just thick enough to be a bit of a hassle to put back into the pouch, and it's not possible to put all of the items into a single pouch while assembled. Otherwise it works great!

[1.45 lb] I purchased this lens for astrophotography. It works very well with my Z5. I'm a fairly new photographer, especially with mirror less cameras, so using manual focus has been a bit of a challenge. This lens has been easy for me to learn on. I was able to take a nice photo in my backyard and see stars that were hidden due to light pollution. I used a tripod, opened the aperture and set the shutter to 15 seconds. Will be taking a trip to Shenandoah national park soon and hope to get a nice photo of the milky way. I highly recommend this lens.

[1.45 lb] 145mm is a large expanse of glass and I was somewhat concerned about the optical quality of such a large filter. My concerns were without foundation though as this filter creates tack sharp images with or without polarization. Well worth the money. Easy to attach to the FotodioX Kit for the 14-24mm Nikon lens... a welcome addition to my bag.

[1.45 lb] I have been using Rokinon lenses for astrophotography for years and have come to expect great things out of them. Whether it is the 14mm or the 24mm I am using I don't want to end up with something I can't use at the end of a session.

After moving to the new Z6 I continued using my old Rokinons and they worked just fine. But I decided I wanted to have a Z mount Rokinon and do away with the convertor. The only complaint I have is the lens is heavy.

But the pictures are fantastic!

[1.45 lb] Excellent filters but really big. But then I knew that would be the case when I ordered them.

[1.45 lb] I'm an architect in the process of resurrecting my architectural photography skills by doing back up project photography for my firm. Forty-two years ago I was using a Nikon F and a Nikkor 35mm PC lens. I recently invested in a Canon 6D and the 24 & 17mm TS-E lenses. I've missed not having a polarizing filter on the 17mm until a few weeks ago when I was in NYC and ran across an architectural photographer using the WonderPana polarizing filter. I immediately ordered one and have had several occasions to use it since. My immediate reaction is that the polarizing effect may not be quite as dramatic as I am used to, but it is effective none-the-less and certainly better than not having the filter. Also, I am being very careful with it given some of the review comments about the little brass nibs breaking off. So far, so good!

[Aluminum] This system works so good, that aside from it being on the lens, you forget it's on the lens, despite it's size. when looking through the view finder, it is so clean that you don't think it's on . The polarizing is amazing. the best out of a mountain of filters and polarizers I've tried. the clouds are UNBELIEVABLE .

[1.45 lb] Having a crop sensor camera, using the Rokinon 14mm is great for waterfall photos since I can get real close to my subject. However, not having a polarizer, the photos were never as good as I wanted them. Now I can get remove the glare and really start to enjoy the lens. Just remember, if you use this filter to darken a blue sky on a 14mm lens without clouds, the sky will look terrible but this is not what this polarizer and lens combo is for.

[1.45 lb] The Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 has high resolution even wide open and is very sharp corner to corner by f/4.5. Color rendition is well balanced and provides excellent contrast. It's solid and feels like a quality lens in every way. The review stating it will not work on a R series camera is obviously in not correct. I've used this lens on a R, RP and R5 with absolutely no issues. The electronic aperture control works and the camera recognizes the lens settings You do, of course need to set the camera to release shutter with no lens to allow operation with any non-Canon manual lens.

The only minor negative is that you can't easily attach a filter to the front of the lens. The include, attache lens hood does provide some minimal protection to the lens however.
