Not just for show, Warm Audio Premier DB25 cables use gold plating for the connectors. Gold is a superior conductor of electricity, surpassing copper and silver as the ideal choice for passing clear audio signals with the lowest possible noise. Gold is also highly resistant to corrosion and immune to oxidation, improving the longevity of the connectors.

Like all Warm Audio gear, the Premier DB25 cable family is meticulously hand tested and inspected by trained technicians in Austin, TX USA.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does SONY A7III support digital input from this adapter or analog only?

A: The Sony A7III will work with this product for Analog Audio only.

Q: 2. can you monitor audio with audio out jack??

A: Yes you can use the audio out jack to monitor but you can't plug a headphone directly in the audio out jack and expect it to work as a headphone driver. The audio out jack is at microphone level and is matched to the microphone input on a DSLR camera. You would need an extra pre-amp to monitor the audio at line or headphone level from the audio out jack. However, the Saramonic BMCC-A01 has a dedicated headphone output with a volume control that works easily for audio monitoring of incoming signals. If you want to monitor incoming signals and audio playback from the camera when needed, then use the headphone jack on the camera as the place to plug in your headphones.

Q: 3. Is it compatible with Sony FDR-AX100E?

A: thank you for your question. This XLR muti interface shoe adapter will work with the FDR-AX100E to allow 2 high quality xlr inputs for better audio recording.

Q: 4. Can you use an XLR Y cable to get a backup signal at lower db? I.e. connect one cable to the mic (supplying phantom power) and the other two cables to Input #1 and #2. Set Input #1 at say 20db and Input #2 at 10db, thus giving you a backup second signal 10db lower. Clearly I don't want to blow my unit.

A: We would not recommend this set up due to two reasons. 1) Since phantom power may not travel properly through a y cable, you would have to power the mic before the splitter , utilizing a separate phantom power supply. 2) By splitting a mic level signal with a y cable, the level going to each input will already be reduced. Any further reduction in level could further noise into the signal. If you want a backup recording, we would suggest using a separate audio recorder such as the Tascam DR40x which would offer a separate safety track recording.

Q: 5. Is the shotgun mic mount removeable? If not, are there screws which look like I might be able to take it off with some customization?

A: Yes the shotgun microphone is removeable.

Q: 6. Will this work with the sony zv-1?

A: Based on Sony's website, this is not compatible with the ZV-1.

Q: 7. Can you record 3 or 4 channels in camera with all the 3 inputs plugged?

A: Yes on cameras equipped with Digital Multi Interface Shoe: :Compatibility Digital Audio: Sony Cameras Equipped with Digital Multi Interface Shoe Analog Audio: Sony Cameras Equipped with Either Multi Interface Shoe or Digital Multi Interface Shoe On cameras with only 2 channels it will be "mixed " The XLR-K3M features two XLR-1/4" combo mic/line inputs with 48V phantom power, and a 3.5mm stereo input with plug-in power, all with individual level controls. Intuitive controls make the adapter easy to use right out of the box. An ECM-XM1 shotgun is included so you can immediately start recording your YouTube videos, Facebook Live streams, and interviews, at home, in the studio, or on the go.

Q: 8. will each input record to a separate channel on A6400, or will all inputs be mixed on one channel?

A: The input select switch on the back of the unit allows you to configure this unit to have inputs 1 and 2 recorded to separate tracks.

Q: 9. what is the difference between the K1 and the K3 ?

A: The K1 model is analog only, the K3 offers both analog and digital audio. The other major difference is the K1 has XLR inputs only, the K3 has XLR / TRS Combo Inputs. You will be able to use XLR or 1/4" connections with the K3.

Q: 10. What are the advantages and differences to consider in relation to the Sony ECM-B1M?

A: They are very different microphones. The KM3 allows you flexibility to use other XLR mics. The B1M is more compact. If you pair it with a A7RM4 its a fully digital path. If you are looking for flexibility then get the KM3. If you want a small mic with some noise isolation then get the B1M.

[Yes] A good durable cable, have been using this version for several months now. Good RF, and EM rejection. No noticeable capacitance. Will be adding more as needed

[Yes] If you use stereo microphone pairs (XY or ORTF), you need cable sets like this. Easier to set up, easier to strike and roll up, and less obtrusive hanging on a stand.

[Analog] I was interested in the possible sound quality difference between this 50' cable and a really short one (3 to 18). I did a test recording in stereo with the left channel using my really short one (Kopul Coiled 3-Pin XLR-M to Angled 3-Pin XLR-F Cable (3 to 18)) and the right channel using this 50' cable coiled on the floor. I kept mics and recorder exactly the same for the experiment and rotated my setup in the room halfway through in case there was one side of the room that was better than another.

By ear I can detect no difference between the two sides in the recording. Both had no discernible hiss when recording a vocalist.

Fantastic!!

[6' / 1.8 m] The product did not arrive overpacked, which is great. The cable seems sturdy and comes with a nice finish. The shielding seems really appropriate (WAYYY nicer stuff than these other cheap cables). This cable represents IMHO the perfect bargain between cheap cables and overpriced (not to say overhyped) mojo connectics. Great product!

[10 x 8 x 1.5"] These cables are a more than solid performer and include features that other more expensive cables (i.e. Mogami) lack.
