[Sony E] This is my first Tokina and it does not disappoint! Build quality is on par with the likes of Sigma and Tamron. Picture quality is sharp and it looks absolutely amazing with this white color. Currently using this with My Sony a6700.

[Sony E] I am truly amazed by the images these lenses can produce for the price and size! If you are looking for lenses that don't look sterile and have some character to them without having to sell all your possessions to afford them, then these are absolutely the lenses for you!

[Sony E] I am liking this lens. My first time out with it on a hike, I came across some friendly and active dogs. I usually have a Prime 16 and some of the photos would have been too close, but the Tokina let me dial it back and captured some great photos with nice detail and bokeh. The auto focus was dead on despite the subjects being dogs. I also did some landscape photos that came out amazing as well.

This is a lens I did not know I needed and the white version looks sharp on my white ZV-E10 and black A6600. Thanks, B&H for the recommendation and answering my questions about it.

[Sony E] Really loving this lens particularly the lightweight. Have used Angenieux and Fuji lenses on a few features, and this lens cut right in with them. It's fast and lightweight and build quality is good as well. Definitely recommended.

[Sony E] I've been looking at these lenses for over a year now, and finally being able to get my hands on one has brought such a next level image to my projects. I've only used it on a couple projects so far, but I think it's great. The parafocal ability is so great, and the lens' rings and gears are so smooth. The focal distance ring seems to have a little more resistance when moving it, but it's not a hinderance to its use. When focusing in or out, the focus breathing seems to be nonexistent and is sooooo smooth.
Specifically with the image that you get out of this lens, I think it has a wonderful amount of character/softness to the amount of sharpness. One reason I've moved over to cinema lenses is that they're not as clinical or sharp as my photography lenses, and they give my video a much more personal look and feel. But when it comes to some commercial work, my original cine lenses can be a bit too soft at a T 2.0. But this Laowa Ranger gives me the right amount of sharpness and character to use on just about any project, and having this in my daily camera rig just eliminates the hassle of switching out lenses to get the look I'm going for.
I know this review isn't very technical, but if you're a first time buyer of cinema zoom lenses, this is an incredible place to start and you won't regret it.

[Sony E] I do't own very many non-Sony lenses but this one is really exceptional. Excellent sharpness and great physical design makes it a joy to use. Having 2.8 or my superwide zoom for an APS-C camera is really nice and it's surprisingly light and small.

[Sony E] Still using Nex7. What an upgrade from kit lens. Shot mostly JPEG but will start doing Raw.

[Sony E] I would recommend this lens for sure the build quality is amazing the image is crisp and clear and allows me to get angles that I never could before beyond conventional 12 mm Ultra Wide sometimes I was always hitting up against the 12 mm now I can push right past it and allow my creativity to not be hampered by the limitations of the optics. if I want to go wider I can!
