A: The ALTA FLY 49T and the FLY 48 are essentially the same dimensions. However, there are the things the FLY 48T does that the FLY 49T does not. It has a 3 Security Point System which is buckle lock over the external zipper and an internal full-coverage zippered mesh flap for security in crowded places. It has dual use/dual color dividers for a drone set-up.The ALTA FLY 49T holds a 15 laptop + tablet while the FLY 48T take a 14 laptop.Things are even more confusing on the Vanguard website. The 48T is more expensive than the 49T whereas at B&H, the prices are switched. In the end, these essentially the same bags are of high quality and you will not regret having either one. At this time, go with the less expensive 48T and chalk this up to a manufacturer tweaking their catalog.

As such, it would depend on the size of your other rolling cases and if you have a way to safely and securely balance the Vanguard Alta Fly 49T Roller Bag on top of the other rolling case you will be using. You may try purchasing luggage bungee cables for your usage needs, but we have no options and the bag has no built-in options for the usage you describe above.​
