Q: 1. What is securing it from falling downward? Can it hold a case with glass sides?

A: The 3M CS200MB Adjustable Under-Desk CPU Mount has no specific mechanism to stop the computer from falling forward. It is not recommended to use this with glass sided cases.

Q: 3. Does the desk fold up or dismount from the rack?

A: The desk is actually created using the front lid of the case. The table legs fold up and into the lid, and then the lid attaches to cover the drawers for transport. If you enlarge the third photo and zoom in, you can see two brackets located on the side of the case, just above the handles, which are used to secure the lid for use as a desk.

Q: 4. What computer dimensions is this capable of holding?

A: 8.25 x 20 x 14.8 (H x L x W) These dimensions are not static - you can adjust it down to fit smaller units. I have never had a problem fitting a PC in them and have installed the old large OptiPlex and the small form factors. Unless you try something outrageous like a 5U server or something, you should have no problems.

Q: 5. Do i need to drill into my desk? Or does this clamp?

A: The installation does require drilling a few small holes, in the bottom of the desk.

Q: 6. Please confirm the thickness of the pad, says 1.52cm, can't be.

A: The thickness of the 3M MP200PS Precise Mouse Pad is specified to be 2mm according to the manufacturer.

Q: 7. I have read that the mouse tray is flimsy and falls apart. Does anyone have some info on this? I need this tray for my wife who has shoulder issues...

A: While being an economical device, this piece should be decent enough for general everyday use and hold up for a while. If you do have any issues with it, you would 30 days from the time of purchase to return the item.

[32 x 20 x 3"] Very solid. Very adjustable(up & down, and side to side). Easy to install with a drill driver like 7 screws plus 2 with rubber stops for the slide. Screw to underside of desk. Mouse pad can go on either side. The wrist pads or cushions have an adhesive backing and stick down to the keyboard platform. Way better than a keyboard drawer. 5

[11.3 lb] I installed this tray a little over 2 weeks ago. Installation was a breeze. My work requires a lot of typing and this tray is very comfortable because it adjusts to the typist height and angle requirements. Depending on your typing style, it may bounce a bit while typing but not a big deal (at least in my case). I wanted to paint the tray black but ended up using it as is. Great product! 5

[Four settings] Love it! I am using in right now and couldn't be happier. I needed a tray that was not as wide as others online and this was the only one meeting that criteria. Sturdy and easy to push back under the desk. The mouse tray that swings under the tray to save space is a huge plus! I had my husband install it with no coomplaints. 5

[32 x 20 x 3"] It is exactly what I expected. I was not going to use the mouse pad anyway, but if I did, there is an issue that if you need to swing it under the key pad to make room to push the key pad under the desk, it unscrews itself. No biggy for me as I did not use it but others may have an issue with it. So far it is sturdy and very well made. To avoid future issues I sprayed the slide area with a little silicon spray; not required, just a little precaution so I do not push to hard and loosen the screws which go into flake board, not the best at holding screws. I also appreciate the email notification when it became available. I ordered it the same day of the notification and it was shipped in the promised time period. 5 stars. 5
