A: My laptop's dimensions are 10.5 wide x 15.25 long x 1 high and I cannot get it into the laptop compartment. The problem is that the zipper opening measures only 14.5 .

A: The short answer is it should. Although I have not taken into the cabin, its dimensions are the same as another bag I tend to take when traveling with plain. I don't have any problem placing it under the seat. Interestingly under the seat space varies between the plains and airlines; the shortest I believe is 9.5 , Southwest, and the tallest is 11 , American. The bag has pretty cushioned belt strap, which one has to push them to the sides to slide the bag under the seat.

I sometimes squeeze in a 100-400 along with these, but the hood won't fit in the bag - I have to take the hood off. When I have the long lens, my bag gets kindof distorted.
