[Yes] I'm using this access point to cover a one bedroom apartment, about 700sqft or so. I have both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz networks under the same SSID, and all devices are using 5Ghz as expected. This means bandsteering is working well. No problems with around 10 devices in a small home.

With a fiber internet connection, I get these real-world speeds on an iPhone 12:

- 600-700mbps within line of sight in the same room.
- 500-600mbps on the other side of the wall.
- 400-500mbps everywhere else, such as through kitchen appliances and a wall, or through two walls and glass shower door.

Upload speed in these tests is approx 100mbps slower than download in every category. (e.g. if I'm getting 700mbps download, upload is around 600. If my download is 450, upload is 350.)



I have two minor cons:
- The configuration in the app without a controller is very minimal. Thankfully, I don't need it, but expect to install a controller if you need advanced features. In the iOS app using it as a standalone AP, you can only configure some basic radio power/channel settings, along with SSID.
- It gets relatively hot in use. This is normal for network gear so it's not problematic, but worth mentioning.

I have no issues using this for a small household with multiple devices at the same time. Great performance, no drops. Highly recommended!

[Yes] Bought one of the first ones available. Only had one issue, DHCP assignment, which a firmware upgrade from the original version 1.0 fixed. Been very reliable since and very happy with it. I used to use Cisco RV320 until they were no longer available. Found this a good replacement. Buying my second one at the time of writing this review.

[Yes] This TP-Link ER7206 router was purchased to replace an ancient D-Link DGL-4100 router that still worked but which no longer maintained full throughput and which didn't support IPv6. Both of these routers have built-in 4-port Ethernet switches.

When it comes to Ethernet routers, my needs are quite simple and the ER7206 meets those needs perfectly. So far it seems to be performing flawlessly.

The router is being fed by a cable modem (550 Mbps downstream and 22 Mbps upstream) and has a computer, color laser printer, smart TV, and Wi-Fi Access Point (AP) connected to it. The AP has a built-in 4-port switch to which a Blu-ray Disc player is connected.

The router was directly connected to a computer for setup purposes and the process was straightforward. I did update the firmware, which is always a good idea since some fixes may be security related.

If your needs are as simplistic as mine, then I highly recommend that you consider this product.

[Yes] Took out my wifi router, (don't use the service-supplied internal, didn't really need the extra router, and it was ancient-old) and replaced it with this. I'm using it @ home.


We just added 2 new units, equipped with WiFi 6e. Wow - you can't tell if it's plugged into the ethernet cable or WiFi. Once set up, it does a great job & is fully configurable (with the separate controller). MAC Filtering, latest security modes, all work well. Coverage (inside, 2nd floor, pointed down) gives huge full-house, plus full-yard coverage.


Pleased with the change.

[512 MB] Replaced an older TP LINK which was really losing coverage in our house. Set up was easy through the tether app and the coverage in our house is great.

[≤22.7 W] TP-Link ER605 V2 Omada Gigabit VPN Router was easy to set up (using it as a standalone router) and basically started working once powered on. The boot cycle is a bit slow (~2-3 mins), but once active there are no issues with all the network devices connected to it.


The 4 ports are sufficient for setting up 4 different networks and the streaming devices seem to be more stable (less buffering, more responsive) than before. I should have bought this router years ago.

[3.45 lb] The TP-Link Router solved our streaming weak signals and drop offs. Great product and easy to set up.

[12 VDC at 2 A] If you want to eliminate the impact of the Electromagnetic frequency from WIFI on your body, this is a reliable product for hooking up multiple devices to ethernet. Make sure to buy a long cable to extend the ethernet connection to the other areas of your work area. I highly recommend this device You'll feel healthier not being surrounded by the EMF.
