[0.42 lb] I ordered the handle from here and Adorama and the description says cables are included which they are not. So if you order be aware that you have to order the cable for your camera.


Kondor Blue came through and sent me the cable that I needed since the ads says it comes with 2 cables when it doesn't.

[0.42 lb] I finally built my proper cinema rig, and this camera cage is the perfect addition to it. The cage is extremely sturdy with no flex at all, and it has a ton of mounting options for extra gear. I love that the carry handle comes with a recording start/stop button, and that it also has a bubble level, magnetically held tools in the baseplate and a sensor plane mark/screw. The cage also has the support strut on the left of the lens rather than the right, so I can use my Meike EFTR-CL drop in filter adapter without issue, unlike with other cages. This cage costs more than the smallrig and tilta options, but it is worth the premium for those features. Also it just looks super cool!

[0.42 lb] I use this top handle with a Kondor Blue top plate on the Canon EOS C70. The record button on top is a life saver. The build is solid and B&H delivery is always super fast. I recommend this product.

[0.42 lb] I really like this handle. It has excellent build quality. There are a number of mounting points on the handle - I would rarely use them, but if I ever need them, having them is a plus. The rubber grip portion has a soft texture, but it is still a solid, firm grip. I have medium-sized hands, and this handle is perfect for my hand size as well as how I like to hold the handle. If you want to hold your camera rig handle like a medieval claymore, this may not be the handle for you. If you hold camera rig handles like I do - with my thumb on the backside, over the enamel Kondor badge in this case - you might find it quite comfortable.

[0.42 lb] Not sure why the other buyer had the issue. Mine fit perfectly with the S1H. There are two screws at each side to adjust how much you want the camera to sit in. For the S1H, I removed those two screws and the camera fits very well to the cage, but still maintain tiny air gaps.

As for the functions and value, it is really hard to beat. We can slide the camera into the cage and then slide it out for mounting to the gimbal without any tool. Functionally very similar to how Bright Tangerine thinks about designs but the price from Kondor Blue is in the affordable side.

[Cage] I own and love many Kondor Blue products, and the Talon Top Handle has to be one of my favorites. I'm surprised no one has reviewed this thing yet. In a seemingly endless sea of camera rig brands and products, this handle stands out for it's clever design and superb functionality. It's a little heavier than some similar-sized handles, but it feels nice and compact. By putting the vertical support between your first and middle fingers, you have a grip that feels more secure. I have medium-sized hands, and my hand fits the split design perfectly. If you have big ol' bear paws, your pinkie may hang off the end. The firm but rubbery pad is comfortable. There is an excellent variety of mounting options that includes a 1/4-20 mount, two 1/4-20 mounts with locating pins, a 3/8 mount with locating pins, two combo 3/8 mounts with locating pins and 1/4-20 inserts, two cold shoes and two NATO lengths. And, a built-in wrench and a bubble level. I own two of these for my R5C and C70 cameras. In my humble opinion, one of the best-designed top handles out there.
