[Cage] I've looked at all other top plates. This one not only looks sleek to impress my clients, but on the C70, this lets me add a Hdmi Transmitter and Rode Audio reciever while still rocking a shotgun mic. Top handle hand space is still not compromised. I can't imagine loving it anymore then I do.

[Cage] If you are looking for a top plate for the Canon EOS C70, look no further. This thing is a rock. Using the two screws deal to secure to the top is, in my own words, legit. The plate feels super secure, does not block any essential functions, and the metal doesn't bleed like Tilta's. This was a must for me since I travel with the C70. In humid climates, Tilta's coating starts coming off and gets caked in sweaty hands. Not an issue here. I recommend this product.

[Cage] I was using another name brand top plate - well made, but it blocked some controls. The Kondor system is very well planned to add function without limiting access. I typically use an external monitor and a shotgun mic, or a wireless mic...sometimes both. This system gives me better mounting points. The only negative is that the HDMI protector was too narrow to allow any of my cables to connect. I will just do without that u til the time is right to replace a cable.

[Cage] Look no further, this is the perfect cage for the R5C.

It's also the only one that give doesn't block the left side of the body, so you can use any VND adapter like the Meike, KipperTie Revolva or Breakthrough.

Super easy to assemble and the top handle with the record/stop button is a must for any serious video shooter.

Worth every penny.

The Kondor Blue cage fits my R5 perfectly and allows for almost any mounting configurations neatly and without allot of hassle. The top handle breaks down and builds back up in seconds with the nato rail system. The remote trigger works flawlessly once you set the shutter button to start recording video on a full press. The cage was shipped to South Africa via DHL and I have no complaints there.

[0.42 lb] I finally built my proper cinema rig, and this camera cage is the perfect addition to it. The cage is extremely sturdy with no flex at all, and it has a ton of mounting options for extra gear. I love that the carry handle comes with a recording start/stop button, and that it also has a bubble level, magnetically held tools in the baseplate and a sensor plane mark/screw. The cage also has the support strut on the left of the lens rather than the right, so I can use my Meike EFTR-CL drop in filter adapter without issue, unlike with other cages. This cage costs more than the smallrig and tilta options, but it is worth the premium for those features. Also it just looks super cool!

[0.42 lb] I love this cage. Been looking for a cage that would provide me a quick conversion from shooting video to shooting photos. I can go straight from the tripod and just pull the camera out to go hand held with no cage but still maintain the arca Swiss plate to put it on my gimbal then slide back into the cage where it can be in the full right, pop it off the rails with the cage for handheld mode in a snap with a quick release. just overall a great flexible system. Good job Kondor Blue!
