[Cage] I finally built my proper cinema rig, and this camera cage is the perfect addition to it. The cage is extremely sturdy with no flex at all, and it has a ton of mounting options for extra gear. I love that the carry handle comes with a recording start/stop button, and that it also has a bubble level, magnetically held tools in the baseplate and a sensor plane mark/screw. The cage also has the support strut on the left of the lens rather than the right, so I can use my Meike EFTR-CL drop in filter adapter without issue, unlike with other cages. This cage costs more than the smallrig and tilta options, but it is worth the premium for those features. Also it just looks super cool!

[0.415 lb] I was using another name brand top plate - well made, but it blocked some controls. The Kondor system is very well planned to add function without limiting access. I typically use an external monitor and a shotgun mic, or a wireless mic...sometimes both. This system gives me better mounting points. The only negative is that the HDMI protector was too narrow to allow any of my cables to connect. I will just do without that u til the time is right to replace a cable.

[Cage] Love this cage for my CANON VIXIA HF G50. Camera fits perfectly. I love the fact that you can adjust this to fit your needs. Many areas to add accessories. I have a microphone and field monitor attached. Very well made and durable.

[0.415 lb] I've looked at all other top plates. This one not only looks sleek to impress my clients, but on the C70, this lets me add a Hdmi Transmitter and Rode Audio reciever while still rocking a shotgun mic. Top handle hand space is still not compromised. I can't imagine loving it anymore then I do.

[0.415 lb] If you are looking for a top plate for the Canon EOS C70, look no further. This thing is a rock. Using the two screws deal to secure to the top is, in my own words, legit. The plate feels super secure, does not block any essential functions, and the metal doesn't bleed like Tilta's. This was a must for me since I travel with the C70. In humid climates, Tilta's coating starts coming off and gets caked in sweaty hands. Not an issue here. I recommend this product.

[0.415 lb] Paired with the Canon R5 and a 19mm Studio rod system making it a hybrid 15mm LWS and 19mm Studio rod systems and has quick release plates everywhere for different payloads.

I bought the canon camera cable but my R series canon mirrorless uses a direct cable.

I found on smallrig website a bluetooth trigger at can attach to
A cold shoe. Works fine.

I would buy this again if I need a second rig.

[0.415 lb] I love this cage. Been looking for a cage that would provide me a quick conversion from shooting video to shooting photos. I can go straight from the tripod and just pull the camera out to go hand held with no cage but still maintain the arca Swiss plate to put it on my gimbal then slide back into the cage where it can be in the full right, pop it off the rails with the cage for handheld mode in a snap with a quick release. just overall a great flexible system.
