Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is it compatible with red Komodo-X ? I try to use with, but the signal come and gets lost all the time. Thanks

A: The FeelWorld LUT6S 6" 2600 cd/m² 4K HDMI/3G-SDI Touchscreen Monitor can work with the RED Komodo. Like any camera/monitor set-up, make sure the camera and the monitor resolution and frame rates are the same.

Q: 2. Will the screen work the menu system on Canon EOS R and does autofocus work on the screen?

A: The FeelWorld CUT6S 6" 4K 3G-SDI/HDMI Touchscreen Recorder/Monitor would not offer direct camera control. The touch screen would be used for the monitors many functions, and color checking tools.

Q: 3. Is there a way to power from camera (drap goldmount)

A: The PORTKEYS PT6 6" 4K HDMI Touchscreen Monitor (B&H# POPT6) will accept a 7-24VDC input (at 6W) from a camera or other power source (such as a D-Tap power port) into its barrel plug power input.

Q: 4. Will this work with a Canon 5Dm4 & Panasonic G9, , Do I need a external Recorder? can I send recordings to a Cell Phone with HDMI ?

A: Yes, the FeelWorld LUT6 6" 2600 cd/m² 4K HDMI Touchscreen Monitor is compatible with the Canon 5D Mark IV and Panasonic G9 via HDMI, but the monitor does not have any recording features.

Q: 5. Does this work with Sony NP-FV70A Batteries?

A: The PORTKEYS PT6 5.2" 4K HDMI Touchscreen Monitor uses Sony L series type batteries only.

Q: 6. When I flip the image on the PT6 screen, does the output image sent via the HDMI output to a secondary monitor also get flipped?

A: Yes, the loop out signal is nothing more than a replica of the input on the PORTKEYS PT6 5.2" 4K HDMI Touchscreen Monitor.

Q: 7. What DC barrel cable do I need to connect this to the power out on a SmallRig NPF plate?

A: The PORTKEYS PT6 6" 4K HDMI Touchscreen Monitor (B&H# POPT6) uses a 5.5mm outside diameter and 2.5mm center pin for it's power in port, so you'll want to choose a cable that has a female version of that connector on the end that goes into the monitor. If you tell us which specific plate (B&H number or manufacturer model number) you have then we can make a specific recommendation.

Q: 8. Can you always pinch to zoom in to check focus?

A: Feelworld recommends zooming in with the camera lens and using focus peaking. They feel that if you do pinch to zoom, the accuracy would not be there.

Q: 9. what is type of HDMI port in the monitor, Full, mini or micro Hdmi ? do i need to buy a separate cable for blackmagic 6k which has Full hdmi port ?

A: It has a full HDMI port.

Q: 10. Do I need to purchase batteries and chargers separately?

A: Yes, batteries and chargers will need to be purchased separately. Items that come in the box are always listed on the right hand side of the overview.

[8 ms] I purchased the Shinobi 7 to put on my Komodo originally as it was half the price of the Indie 7, but after deciding to exchange it, I was so glad I did. This monitor is bright, quick, intuitive, and just works. It's been put through multiple 10 hour days and it adds so much easy functionality that you need out of a professional monitor. If you're in the market for a monitor ; just buy this one, you won't regret it.

[Yes] Upgraded from my SmallHD 702. Such a big difference. The clarity is apparent and definitely much brighter. The UI seems faster and overall I’m in love with it. Build/image quality is A1

[800 x 400 mm] This monitor is truly impressive. I extensively researched options to find the simplest and lightest 7 monitor available, and this one perfectly fit the bill. Its HDMI connectivity and remarkably bright screen make it ideal for outdoor use, surpassing both my built-in camera monitors and a smaller alternative I own. The fact that it doesn't require SDI was a non-issue for me.

While the user interface could benefit from a modern update, it's still serviceable. Navigating it can be a tad confusing due to some convoluted wording, and there are definite glitches that need addressing. One significant issue arises when outputting OSD via HDMI to the monitor: if, for instance, there's an on-screen grid from the camera, the monitor's zebra setting might mistakenly interpret the grid lines (as well as any white text in the camera's menu) as overexposed, which is rather inconvenient. Consequently, I've opted to refrain from outputting OSD and rely solely on the monitor's built-in guides.

Despite the somewhat flimsy plastic construction, it contributes to the monitor's lightweight design, which was my primary focus alongside brightness. Additionally, the monitor's aesthetic is pleasingly minimalist, with sleek bezels enhancing its overall appeal. Considering its price point, this monitor stands out as the top choice for a 7 display, provided you don't require SDI or dual battery support (I personally only needed one battery slot).

The only significant drawback I've encountered is that the monitor appears to draw power even when supposedly switched off, which is incredibly frustrating. As a workaround, I've had to use a larger battery or connect it to a D-Tap power source. On the bright side, it seamlessly switches between D-Tap AC port power and battery operation, offering some flexibility in powering options.

[178 x 178°] Just replaced the original bulb that blew recently. New bulb has the same picture, quality and brightness as far as I can tell. I'm using it as a home theater projector and have no real complaints. Clearly I haven't used this bulb long so I can't confirm bulb life, but I can say that the original lasted about 22 months with it as the main television in the house. So not bad.

[Internal] I purchased the Portkeys PT6 to have a front-facing image reference for my Sony camera in an in-home studio setting.

It worked out of the box, although you should note to buy the separate power supply if you're using it in a fixed location (I just happened to have an identically rated power supply handy that worked).

The menus are fast and intuitive and the customizable menus are a great feature if you don't need all the metering options provided.

The picture is clear and bright and overall I'm very pleased with the purchase. Would recommend.

[178 x 178°] I think that this is the best budget monitor, even moreso when it goes on sale. For the price point, you get so many features such as false color, 3D LUT, and anamorphic desqueeze.
