The NovoConnect NC-X500 Wireless Presentation and Collaboration Solution from Vivitek provides comprehensive collaboration capabilities and digital signage content delivery for a wide range of public communication and meeting applications. The unit features 4K HDMI video and 3.5mm audio outputs, internal 16GB eMMC flash storage, and the ability to execute screen sharing among 64 users.

The NC-X500 supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and boasts AES-256 encryption as well as on-screen and remote annotation functionality. AirPlay, GoogleCast, and Miracast support is integrated for Windows 10 users, and wireless presentation can be achieved from virtually any devices using a wide range of operating systems including Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, and Chromebook. The NC-X500 comes with an AC/DC adapter as well as a USB cable.

A: Yes, it works fine shooting multiple continuous shots.

Q: 2. What iOS app(s) are compatible with this? Only iPad, or are there iPhone apps as well?

A: The CBK-WA02 Wireless LAN adapter enables wireless data transfer from specified Sony camcorders to other devices on the same network. it is device agnostic.

Q: 3. Does this flash offer high speed sync with the Fuji X-T2 and X-Pro2 cameras? The Overview say High-speed sync possible with select cameras. But it doesn't specify any of the select cameras.

Q: 4. I just bought the TTL FujiFilm radio receiver for the Godox AD200 flashes. Will the EF-X500 work with this set-up? If so, do I use the same radio receiver system to sync this flash? Thank you!

A: If you have the Godox X1T-F or Godox X-PRO F transmitter to fire the AD200, which has a built in receiver, you would not be able to fire the EF-X500. There are presently no Fujifilm compatible receivers from Godox.

Q: 5. Is the high speed sync capability on when the flash is on the camera or can it be used off camera with trigger/receiver?

A: The EF-X500 can be controlled remotely via optical wireless flash control or mounted on the camera hot shoe for use as a stand-alone flash unit or as a master flash controlling remote FUJIFILM flash units via optical wireless control.Be sure to check your camera's compatibility and firmware version when the flash is released.

Q: 6. What adapter and sync cord should I purchase for using this flash, wired, to an X-Pro2?

A: There are no TTL cords yet, but if you are using this on the X-Pro2, you won't need to adapt it since it was made for the X-series cameras.

Q: 7. What is the proper PC sync cord for syncing this flash to the Fujifilm X-Pro2?

A: Unfortunately, I do not currently see the Fujifilm EF-X500 Flash listing a PC sync terminal as a feature under the Specifications tab on Fujifilm's website, and at this time, Fujifilm has not yet released the instruction manual for the EF-X500 Flash, so I cannot confirm or state if a/which PC sync cable may work for your needs. I would recommend checking back once the flash is available for purchase or the instruction manual is released online.

Q: 8. Can I use flash EF-X500 on camera X-E1 ?

A: Compatible cameras are FUJIFILM X-Pro2, X-T2, X-T1 (*Other X Series compatible cameras with hot-shoe: FinePix HS20EXR, HS30EXR, and HS50EXR are compatible with some of the functions.)

A: The Atlona AT-WAVE-101 Wi-Fi Wireless AV Presentation Platform BH #ATWAVE101 features a Factory Rest function that might help: Factory Reset - Select this button, if wanting a clean slate after going through and changing the settings of the WAVE-101. A pop up will appear to verify a reset is what is needed, select the FACTORY RESET link to confirm the reset. Reboot - When pressed, a pop up will appear to confirm the choice. Q: 10. I'm confused. It says it has full wireless capabilities but there is no wireless trigger system available. So how exactly is it wireless? It does state it can fire optical via light pulses which I guess means you can use one flash to set off a sequence of other flashes off-camera. Not exactly full wireless . Any idea when they will actually have a proper full wireless system for Fuji before I ditch the whole rig and go back to Nikon?

A: It's my understanding that the xt2 will be able to control the flash in camera, and that the xp2 may get this in the future via firmware update. Alternatively you can use one flash as a wireless master, negating the need for a separate trigger. I'm pretty interested myself but will be waiting to see some reviews before I jump at it.

[5 VDC at 2 A] Apparently 2 people gave this a three star rating because it is an optically controlled flash and not radio transmitted. Both Canon and Nikon now offer radio controlled flashes, that cost about $600. This flash is about $450...THE SAME PRICE AS an SB910 which is very similar in specs and also an OPTICALLY controlled unit. I have used both the Canon and Nikon units and found them to be fairly reliable. It would be nice if Fuji would come out with a radio controlled unit...BUT FOR THE PRICE, this unit is exactly what I would have expected it to be. Well Built, Full Function, and VERY RELIABLE! 5

[5 VDC at 2 A] Just replaced the original bulb that blew recently. New bulb has the same picture, quality and brightness as far as I can tell. I'm using it as a home theater projector and have no real complaints. Clearly I haven't used this bulb long so I can't confirm bulb life, but I can say that the original lasted about 22 months with it as the main television in the house. So not bad. 5

[5 VDC at 2 A] I had high hopes for this long-awaited flash. The achilles heel of the Fuji system has, for a long while, been a dedicated proprietary strobe. This unit more than fills the bill. Not too big, it's still a hefty unit, and the excellent build quality is instantly evident. It has all the features you'd want in its easy-to-navigate and intuitive menu. Multiple bounce angles and zoom settings are available. This is one of the few flashes that has what I believe should be a standard feature: a front fill light. This small flash helps to fill shadows typical of bounce flashes and it does double-duty as a video light! A bulb diffuser is included (but attaches in an inexplicable fashion). A well-made, padded case and a stand round out the free accessories. Excellent recycle rate with rechargeable AAs. The flash works well with Fuji's TTL metering and I just couldn't be happier. If you're on the fence, give it a try. I'll bet you'll love it as much as I do. One of the greatest compliments I ever received was from a photographer friend: Your flash photos look like available light. He was right and I achieved that with Canon bodies/flashes. Now I can finally do the same thing with my Fuji X-Pro2. I'm supremely happy with this product. 5

[5 VDC at 2 A] The controls are easy to use, but more importantly the flash fires at the correct intensity every time. I have been using a Fujifilm EF 42 and about every 10 shots I will get a photo that's completely blown out. I jiggle the flash on the hot shoe and I'm good for about another 10 shots. I think the problem is that the EF 42 has a plastic hot shoe mount. The EF- X500 has a metal hot shoe mount and so far every shot has been correctly exposed. 5

There's somethings that could be better such as better commander vs line of site in firing multiple flash mode, A bit pricey but hopefully Fuji will get the message in making a less expensive flash system and dedicated to all their cameras. This flash is very well made and sturdy, it is a quality unit. 5
