[0.425 lb] I was a little skeptical that this lens wouldn't compete with the Tamron 35mm - 150mm, but those fears faded quickly. While it is slightly heavier than the Tamron, the image quality, fast autofocus, build quality, and price make up for it!

[0.425 lb] Its better than some people do a negative review before. The focus is pretty fast with my Sony A7c2, build verry ok. Widest apeture make it a bit soft quality but it still good enough for portrait. The price i bought is much cheaper than tamron and Samyang version, its only 1130$, its much worth for ~600$ cheaper Tamron. Samyang vs Rokinon is the same just different price, i saw samyang was 1000$ in black friday, if u can buy these that price, there are nothing Tamron can compare with these samyang/rokinon. Onlything i don't like is u need to buy adapter to update a lens, u cant do that with camera (as i know now).

[0.425 lb] I took a chance on this lens for no other reason than I liked the specs. A 35-150 2.0-2.8 is a great walk-around lens size.
It is a bit heavy, but that is to be expected. It is well-balanced, focuses quickly on a Sony AR7V, and takes nice images.
If I had a wish, it would be to make this a 24mm-150mm. 35mm is a bit restrictive, but not super bad.
The attached image was shot at 7.1 and is not retouched short of sizing. Bokeh is nice for 7.1. The flowers are sharp and image between shadow and light is nicely balanced. If you're looking for a good lens, (not cheap) but not super expensive too. I would recommend this guy.

[0.425 lb] Amazing built quality, handling and functionality. I have been using it for over a month and love everything about this lens. It's not too heavy and I feel comfortable shooting with it handheld for several hours.

[0.425 lb] This lens is much better than it should be for the price. Mine arrived yesterday and I took it out to a college soccer match (see attached image!). It doesn't feel cheap as some other reviewers have stated. It focuses fast and accurately. I'm pleased!

[0.425 lb] I just used this lens for the first time photographing a wedding and it performed perfectly. It was very sharp and the autofocus didn't miss a beat. The weight takes a little time to get used to but it's worth it being able to get so many different shots with one lens.
I've heard that some people get bad copies of this lens but luckily I got a good one. That's the main reason I got it from B&H and not Amazon. I trust B&H more so to have a good copy.
