The Vanguard Vesta GOT 233AP Aluminum Tripod PH-24 Headfrom Vanguard Vesta GOT 233AP Aluminum Tripod PH-24 Headis a compact and portable tripod ideal for tabletop and sports optic use. It has a maximum height of 22.7 and a load capacity of 6.6 lb. It features reverse-folding legs that allow it to fold down to 10.2"" for easy storage and transport. The center column has a spring-loaded ballast hook for added stability. The included PH-24 pan/tilt head has a locking pan handle for fast action. It also has a panoramic base with a numbered scale and an independent locking knob. An Arca-type quick release set with a QR plate is built into the head.

[11.1 x 4 x 4"] I have only used it a few times but I find it easy to change positions for set up. The pan is smooth whether using the tripod or the pan on he head. Looking forward to shooting video over the holidays. 5

[11.1 x 4 x 4"] This American Made tripod is well engineered, absolutely solid and easy to handle for those dead-on still shots and astrophotography lovers. I used this tripod on a snow-covered slope requiring an odd and uneven tripod leg configuration - it worked great. I highly recommend this tripod and the accompanying panhead which easily handles heavy full-frame cameras and lenses. 5

[Pan & Tilt Head] Mounted on my Vesta is a 2-pound lens and my Konica SLR. The lens has no tripod collar, so the assemble is cantilevered off the ball head. It doesnt budge after I tighten the screw. The feet have small rubber cushions, so I will be able to use this on the hood of my car without scratching the paint. 5
