Gain instant access to the front, side, and top panels with the H5 Flow's unique tool-less design. Easily pop the panels off so you can upgrade your cooling and access difficult-to-reach places. Additionally, a 1.1" cable management space makes maneuvering your wires easy.

Ultra-fine mesh panels found at the top, front, and even the PSU shroud optimize airflow from all angles, allowing your resource-demanding hardware to operate at full load without worry.

Designed to accommodate a variety of fans, the H5 Flow optimizes your layout with multiple locations and options. The front panel supports either three 120mm or two 140mm fans, the top supports two 120mm fans, the rear supports a 120mm fan, and the inside shroud can support up to two 120mm fans.

Install a variety of radiators in the H5 Flow with support for radiators up to 360mm at the front panel, 240mm on the top panel, and 120mm on the rear panel. If you have low-profile memory, you can install top-mounted radiators up to 280mm.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Has anyone used this with a dynamic mic with or without a preamp?

A: Yes, I've used it with a Shure SM10A head mounted mic and it's worked well, using the built-in preamp in the Zoom. You have to turn up the gain pretty high, usually, though, but that's true in general for this particular mic. I use it to record people speaking for phonetic research.

Q: 2. I am looking into this sound recorder to in-hanse the sound recording of my films. I would primarily use this recorder with a phantom powered shotgun mic. Ive read good and bad reviews about this product and am just wondering if this would be the best sound recorder for the price keeping in mind that I would mostly use it with a phantom powered XLR shot gun mic? Thank you.

A: The word is enhance.

Q: 3. Is it compatible with the new H8 ?

A: Yes.

Q: 4. When using this in RAW (mid and side recorded separately, to balance later in post, rather than blending while recording) on the H5, can the H5 still record a second back-up track at reduced gain? From the little I've read on the tech of mid-side, I'm thinking it could work: capsule's stereo file 1 of 2 is mono-mid on left channel and mono-side on right channel, leaving capsule's stereo file 2 of 2 to record same at -12dB. Good guess, or wishful thinking?

A: Yes!

Q: 5. Im looking for mics to record a concert in a cathedral. Which would work better for that kind of recording? This mic, or the XYH- 6 capsule?

A: I would recommend the Zoom XYH-6, because it replicates the way we would hear a performance, while sitting in front of the stage. Be aware that both the Zoom MSH-6 and Zoom XYH-6 are mic capsules that only work with Zoom recorders with the Interchangeable Microphone System.

Q: 6. If I'm using a lav mic (via XLR input) should I choose Stereo or Multi to record? Which will give the best results?

A: Choose stereo mode.

Q: 7. What is the Bit-depth and Frequency that it records at?

A: That is dependent on the recorder being used with this capsule. When using this with the H5 or H6 recorder, you can record at 24 bit, up to 96k sample rate.

Q: 8. Can this be combined with the Zoom EXH-6 to give it a total of 4 XLR inputs?

A: Yes, you can use the EXH-6 module with the Zoom H5 to enable recording of up to four external mic and/or line level signals simultaneously.

Q: 9. So I am looking into buying my audio equipment and I am confused on what I should buy. Should I get the Zoom H5, Rode VideoMic Pro or should I buy an audio kit with boom pole? Or should I buy all three?

A: Dear Bryce. The zoom H5 is a recording device, or capture device. It's like a tape recorder, a nagra from the old days, except its digital. It has two little microphones on it which can come off. It has xlr inputs and 1/4 inch inputs for mics. On other words, you can attach anything to this device, like wireless receivers that take a signal from a Mic which you place on an actor, or, you could take a wireless signal from a Mic on the end of a boom pole. You can also run cable to the Mic and plug in directly to this device. So, for movie making this allows the sound person to be independent from the camera. All you need to do to make it easy to sync up later is use sticks at the beginning of a take, or the end. Do you follow me?.?.? Good.

Q: 10. can I use my H4n recorder without batteries using an ac adapter?I purchased an AD-17A/d but not sure how to us it ?? Help pls

A: The H4n does not power from the USB connection. It requires a DC adapter, the AD-14.

[24.1 dBA] Compact size satisfactory airflow
The design is the best

[7x Full Height] I like it better then my Corsair 5000D if that tells you anything. Best mid-tower for external water cooling. I run a giant 16 fan radiator externally on all my computers and I love small cases that can still fit an ATX motherboard.

[7x Full Height] nice case with good air flow

[Thumbscrews] Case arrived in good packaging and was easy/intuitive to set up. Built the computer about a month ago and it has been running well so far. I was worried ventilation would be an issue based on some past H510 reviews, but I've got an i7 and a 3060 in there with an AiO and the temperature hasn't been an issue at all. The H510 Flow definitely lives up to its name.

The design itself is super clean and sleek, but I assume that's why you're even considering it in the first place. The size is comfortable for most work spaces, the feet are stable, and there's plenty of space for cable management. Some of the cable tie options were a bit unintuitive, but there's so much room that that's not an issue and it's still very easy to keep clean wires.

Oh, and if you're worried it doesn't look as white as the other H510 variants because of the black grate on the front, don't fear. Any angle where you can see above it is still dominated by the white design work. It's only the angle of the example photos that makes it look otherwise. Of course, if you really want to have some fun with it, try 3D printing a custom mesh front - that piece is very modular, so it wouldn't be too difficult! On my to-do list for sure!

Overall TLDR, been quite happy with this! Good air-flow and sleek design live up to expectations.

[7x Full Height] Love the aesthetic of this case. It has been exactly what I hoped for when planning out my all-white build. Very easy to build in and has lots of options for different configurations. My only gripe is that I wish there were rubber grommets for the cable management slots. Lots of extra cable management is required because of the large gaps.
