The Cisco Business Dashboard is designed to manage Cisco Business switches, routers, and wireless access points. It simplifies traditional challenges in deploying and managing business networks while automating the deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management of the network. The 1300 Series switches support an embedded probe as well as direct management, eliminating the need to set up a separate hardware or virtual machine onsite. The device onboarding wizard simplifies the setup and onboarding of new devices to the network.

The Cisco Catalyst 1300 Series Switches support dual images, allowing you to perform software upgrades with minimal network downtime.

Support for advanced network security applications such as IEEE 802.1X and port security tightly limits access to specific segments of your network. Advanced defense mechanisms, including dynamic Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) inspection, IP Source Guard, and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) snooping, detect and block deliberate network attacks.

As the IP address scheme evolves to accommodate a growing number of network devices, the Cisco Catalyst 1300 Series Switches can support the transition to the next generation of networking. These switches continue to support previous-generation IPv4, allowing you to evolve to the new IPv6 standard at your own pace and helping ensure that your current network will continue to support your business applications in the future.

The Cisco Catalyst 1300 Series Switches enable a more advanced set of traffic management capabilities to help growing businesses organize their networks more effectively and efficiently. For example, the switches provide dynamic Layer 3 routing, allowing you to segment your network into workgroups and communicate across VLANs without degrading application performance.

This switch supports Front Panel Stacking for up to eight switches, allowing you to configure, manage, and troubleshoot all switches in a stack as a single unit with a single IP address.

The sleek and compact design for the Cisco Catalyst 1300 Series Switches provides additional deployment flexibility, including installation outside the wiring closet for sites such as retail stores, open-plan offices, and classrooms without disturbing the environment.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can I control this camera with Cat6 PoE Cable and control it with a Mac computer running Telestream's Wirecast application?

A: Yes. The following unit offers POE. In order to drive the system you can control the unit via IR Remote Control " enclosed with purchase" or AViPAS AV-3104 3D Keyboard Controller " separate purchase" BH #AV3104V2 • MFR #AV-3104 https://bhpho.to/3kneB8B

Q: 2. I'm new to archiving with MDiscs, what specifications should I be looking for a Blu-Ray Burner (other than M Disc Support) so that it would be compatible with this M Disc brand? Does the writer need to be BDXL compatible? Thanks in advance.

A: If you are wanting to get M-Disc support than your burner must support it. As well if you are looking to burn BDXL you burner must support this as well.

Q: 3. If my computer does not have an sdi input how to I connect the the video to my hdmi input or usb, I just need it to stream for YouTube nothing fancy

A: You can simply connect the camera to your network by using the ethernet port on the camera and then receiving the IP feed on your computer with software e.i. OBS. If you use the SDI, you'll need to get an SDI capture device like BH #MA32070: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1350328-REG/magewell_32070_usb_3_0_sdi_capture.html?sts=pi&pim=Y

Q: 4. What software do you use to burn onto these 100GB 4x Triple-Layer Blu-ray Discs? I have Toast Titanium 10 and it burns onto 50GB Dual Layer BDR no problem. Contacted Toast's phone support and said it is not possible to burn onto Triple Layer Bluray discs in general. :-/

A: We use imgburn to author and burn ISO files

Q: 5. is this a complete unit do I need to purchase a wireless bridge as well is this just the antenna?

A: To configure this as a PTP (Point to Point) system, you will need another Ubiquiti Networks airFiber 24 GHz Carrier Class Point-to-Point Gigabit Radio.

Q: 6. if you have 4 batteries attached will it charge two simultaneously? Or does that only work when two batteries are attached?

A: It can do two at a time with either 2 or 4 on the charger.

Q: 7. Can the camera's IP address be set manually to fit our network?

A: Yes, that should be possible.

Q: 8. What unit/writer is required to “burn’/write these M-Discs?

A: Any Blu-Ray reader/writer that supports M DISC will be compatible with the Verbatim 25GB BD-R 4x M DISC with Branded Surface (25-Pack Spindle). For external optical drives, we carry the Pioneer BDR-XD07S 6x Slim Portable USB 3.0 Blu-ray Burner with M-DISC Support (BH #PIBDRXD07S). https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1520037-REG/pioneer_bdr_xd07s_6x_slim_portable_usb.html

[2000] Works well for environments that need a few POE ports for cameras, etc. I connected all my cameras and a monitoring server on the same switch for the best throughput between them. Working well so far!

[Yes] Very nice, this has all the power and ports that i need for my POE+ devices. Thinking of mounting this on the wall with double sided velcro. Using it to route all my ethernet cables hardlines to the walls in my home current and for security cameras.

[30 W] I purchased this POE switch for a camera system. There are 4 cameras that are connected to a NVR thru an access point (bridge mode). I used this to power the cameras and feed the antenna. The switch has a 48vdc power supply. Works like a charm.

[Yes] Using a pair of these switches for church worship live streaming. We have had to adopt streaming due to the whole covid situation. So have setup a network to handle all connections between cameras, computers and audio sources for the streaming and wanted a high speed uplink between sound booth and stage. It is probably a little overkill but I did not want network bandwidth to ever be a questionable issue.
The switches are working great for us and the 10 Gig uplink is established through a 100 ft CAT6a cable. PoE available on all ports (except uplinks) and working great. The switch does take about 2 minutes to become operational on power up, so we have put in small UPS units to prevent interruptions in case of a power glitch.
Good feature at a nice price.

[Yes] My old switch (another brand and the only non Netgear switch) failed. Looked at several models and settled on this one. PoE is a nice plus but I don't have a need or it right now but it is a nice feature to have. Devices connect and buzz the internet with no problems. No complaints
