Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. connecting R-S202 to Pioneer FS52 Floor standing speakers should I use regular wiring or bi-wiring? Which is one is better?

A: The Yamaha R-S202 Stereo Receiver with Bluetooth (Black), B&H # YARS202BL, should sound more or less identical regardless of whether it has standard wiring or bi-wiring. Bi-wiring can potentially reduce resistance within the wiring, but this difference would likely not be audible on any equipment being used outside of a professional studio, and therefore wouldn't make much of a difference on this particular receiver.

Q: 2. Does this receiver have a connection for a ground wire from another component?

A: There is no grounding terminal. try using the screw on the faceplate of your electrical outlet.

Q: 3. what is the warranty?

A: This will come with a Limited 2-Year Warranty from the manufacturer.

Q: 4. We can possible to connect a 2 PAgoldwood 10 inch speaker 300watts in this amplifier?

A: Most likely yes, i would check the ohm load requirement on the speaker just to safe.

Q: 5. Hi, it looks like the other piece is missing to this power adapter. Do you have other photos?

A: The AC cord is not included. Please review the following item for your ac power needs C2G 18 AWG 2-Slot Non-Polarized Power Cord (NEMA 1-15P to IEC320C7, 6', Black) BH #CA27398 • MFR #27398 https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/917101-REG/c2g_27398_6_18_awg_2_slot.html

Q: 6. How many bluetooth devices will this remember without having to re-pair?

A: This stereo receiver doesnt need to remember anything. The device that connects to it needs to remember it, not the other way around. You can connect as many devices as you have.

Q: 7. Can I use 4 ohm speakers with this receiver?

A: Yamaha recommends 8 ohms as the minimum impedance for any connected speakers.

Q: 8. Can this receiver support an EQ box?

A: Unfortunately newer current receivers like the Yamaha S202 no longer support the use of a Separate Equalizer. The same will apply to the other receiver options we have listed.

Q: 9. I am surprised to notice that practically there is no sound until the volume is raised to 40 to 45. Is this a device problem or normal for this product?

A: It may vary somewhat depending on the connected speakers and listening mode. Try headphones also.

Q: 10. What is the effective range for Bluetooth Connectivity?

A: Have not used Bluetooth yet, but plan to.

[Plastic] We are now on our second set of these cases. We've been using them for years and the wheels on our first set finally got worn out. It took a lot of trips and much abuse and they are so easy to transport our sound equipment! We are looking forward to more years of use.

[9 dBm] I was pleasantly surprised at the power and clarity of the audio from this system. All the channel controls work great, and the effects options sound good. It's nice to have the bluetooth option and I appreciated the extra inputs and outputs, including the 1/8 inch stereo input and the monitor/sub woofer outs.

I paired this system with the Yamaha NS-SW100 subwoofer and I'm really glad I did. If there is anything to complain about with the system, it is that the low end isn't as full as I would like it to be, but not unexpected in a smaller speaker. The sub filled it out really well and was easy to connect thanks to the dedicated subwoofer output.

Bottom line, I feel as if I got really great value for the price!

[15.505 lb] This review is not about the listing title. As mentioned in reviews by unfortunate souls, they do NOT hold two speakers, only one! If you have two speakers, you will need to order two of these. Know that up front and and don't order if you are hoping otherwise.

I just put together a portable PA system for a client (a-cappella mens chorus)basedon the Stagepas 600i and immediately ordered a pair of these, as the speakers themselves are kind of heavy for these older guys to lug around at gigs. With these, a stand-bag (2x speaker stands and 2x mic stands) and a gear box (headword wireless kit, custom x-y mic, cables and roll of gaff-tape) one guy can easily roll this into a show.

You need the protection for the mixer/amp knobs for times it is stored, and these will keep them looking good from bangs and bumps during transport.Just stiff enough, easy to get the speakers in/out, and they fold neatly flat (as they were shipped) during gigs.

The well-built zipper pouch (only one) helps keep the complete PA kit compact, by storing the outlet-strip/power-conditioner (Furman) in one bag, and and a 50-foot extension cord in the second bag.

The skate wheels are semi-hard rubber and a bit small, but comparable to "decent" luggage wheels. The handle opens and retracts smooth and doesn't feel too flimsy. The one thing missing is some plastic glides above the wheels for pulling it up a curb/step without grinding the fabric.

At the time of purchase, B&H had the best price, and this really finished off the kit. My client was impressed.

[24 VDC] Great bag! Fits my STAGEPAS 600 spkrs perfectly. Only thing I would change is the zipper pattern. Must lay bag down on its side to insert speaker. Would rather insert speaker with bag standing upright. Highly recommend!

[15.505 lb] I love, love, love this PA system. I'm a gigging drummer that wanted to have a small PA system that I could use for home rehearsals / my electronic kit while still being able to pack up easily and use for actual gigs. The Yamaha STAGEPAS 600BT Portable 10-Channel PA System with Bluetooth checks off ALL the boxes. It sounds INCREDIBLE, is super easy to transport, and has all the power you'll need for a small band w/ vox. It's so portable, you can really set up and play anywhere. I've also added a couple of Yamaha DBR10's to use as monitors, and it's perfect. Added wins: feedback suppression and the bluetooth onboard are both wildly helpful. Cannot recommend this system enough!

[9 dBm] I generally play with one other person through this, but occasionally we get guests who either sing or need to plug an instrument in. This can accommodate all of us and we use the BT400 not the 600. We use a Mackie thump speaker out of the subwoofer port which helps with fullness of the sound, not that it's bad to begin with. The only amp we used to bring along with our old PA was the bass amp but don't even need that anymore. Awesome sounding, portable and all the basic functionality you would need for a two or three person crew. The portability is awesome, we only use when when we play out as we have a dinosaur Peavy PA for practice that stays where it is. I use this Yamaha as speakers for my computer if I know we have a lot of time between gigs. Awesome for just playing music or trying karaoke at home too. If you're going to be playing a passive instrument through channels 5-8, you're going to want a booster.
