Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Could I put this on a Micro 4/3rds camera w/Flip out OLED display (and telephoto lens)??

A: The Celestron EclipSmart Universal Solar Filter for Optics 75mm to 100mm, is technically too big a filter for most Micro Four Thirds camera lenses. If you had a lens that was as big as 62mm- 72mm filter mount , you could use the Celestron EclipSmart Universal Solar Filter for Optics 75mm to 100mm.You may need to use some gaffers tape to keep it in place.

Q: 2. I did a search on the Tangent website in their applications search for "Photoshop" and got nothing. I suspect this means I can't use this surface for color correcting in Photoshop?

A: Unfortunately, the Tangent 2 does not support Photoshop.

Q: 3. Is this camera able to take still photos? Thanks

A: This is a video only device. Images are shot at a desired frame rate and with the included software, multiple frames are combined to create a properly exposed and fully detailed singular image.

Q: 4. would it work as a fastar imager?

A: The Celestron NexImage 10 Solar System Color Eyepiece Imager will work as one of the fastest imagers.

Q: 5. In the first version of the wave, the balls do not fall out. Is it the same with the wave 2? Or do your balls fall out like the ripple/elements?

A: Not only do they fall out, they roll across the floor.

Q: 6. does this make any noise? fan noise? I'm think about mounting this in my sound studio.

A: Bit late to the party, but in the hopes this may help someone: Yes, it makes noise. There is a constant hum, not just when on battery power, and noticeable vibration, kind of like touching a speaker. I would not recommend this for a quiet location.

Q: 7. How long of a cable could you put on the imager? (max distance from imager to computer)

A: The Imager comes with a 10' USB 3.0 Cable. I would say that would be the maximum, since that's what the Manufacturer includes.

Q: 8. Can the Wave 2 have one rotary knob that works with the "active/focused" Effect/FX in Adobe Pr so that as I switch from FX to FX that single Wave 2 rotary/knob will adjust the values on the currently selected FX?

A: The Tangent Wave2 Panel allows customization of the knobs using the Tangent Hub and Mapper software.

Q: 9. How much detail can you get with a decent 8" SCT (mine's a Celestron EdgeHD)? Could I hope to make out Jupiter's red spot, for instance? (My eyepiece projection attempts with my DSLR and an 8mm eyepiece give me the main bands, but no luck making out the red spot)

A: The Celestron NexImage 10 Solar System Color Eyepiece Imager (1.25") will give you no magnification at all, your telescope's Focal Length, is all you will get.

Q: 10. Would this also work for deep space objects? It's tailored for planets, moon, and solar, but how would it work for, say, the Orion nebula? Whirlpool galaxy? Other?

A: The Celestron NexImage 10 is not sensitive enough to capture deep space objects. This is why it is only recommended for solar system use.

[100 W] I purchased this item a few weeks ago, but have not had the opportunity to use it yet. I am a novice camper. I can consider myself a first generation camper or explorer in my family. But even though I only have a few camping nights under my belt, I was impressed with the information that I was exposed to online from the reviews of other customers and fellow campers. I really enjoyed the idea of winter camping and I am sure that the solar panels in conjunction with the EcoFlow Delta 2 which I have also recently purchased will be a great combination. I am planning on creating my first YouTube video which will consist in the unboxing of the 400 W solar panel from EcoFlow as well as the EcoFlow Delta 2. As part of a winter camping video series based on New Jersey’s state park campgrounds. I am very eager to see the results of both products. Hopefully, I will inspire other family members to enjoy the beautiful outdoors as well as the different EcoFlow products.

[1] I tried out this 400W solar panel with one of my Delta Pros yesterday. It was a partly sunny day, so the wattage input varied greatly. However, I was able to get up to 367 W of input at one point, and was able to charge from 30% up to 61% within an afternoon. I’m happy with that!

[100 W] Solar panels are great and provide faster charging than I thought they would. They are extremely heavy however and I was unable to move them around well. Also, they are floppy and it is difficult to easily reposition them for sunlight. If you are not very strong and small in stature, you should consider a smaller panel set.

[8.3 A] This pane has been my go to panel when charging my devices. i average around 375 t9 384 watts which is very good. i now own three of these panels and i would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a large foldable panel with this much solar output. Do not just take my word for it try one and see why I love this panel so much.

[Black] I set mine up on the roof of my house and use a 20ft extension. It hasn't moved even during storms.
I have one of the early Delta models, and it works great. I just need a bigger battery.
As the sun first rises, I only get 20-30 watts and peaks over 300 watts around noon.
Considering the panel isn't pointing directly at the sun, I'm impressed!

[Black] I hooked up the solar panels to the charger today. The panels and charger are on my in full sun. Started at 29% battery and now is at 42%. Charges at a slower pace. It’s been charging for about 2 hours. I have four panels for 400 watts.

[100 W] We have had 3 of the 400W solar panels outside for 125 days straight, rain, snow, hail, high winds, and no issues. They actually can stand up to sustained use in weather !
I've had them flat on the ground and now on the side of a small rise. Running them in serial. I've gotten up to 960w, yesterday I got 940w late morning.
For 2 months they powered our seedling far in the water shed (pictured to the right in the photo) . Lately they power up all our battery recharging operations - our water filtration and our freeze drier.

[Monocrystalline] Great panels. These panels were an upgrade from the 160W versions. These pull in so much more power for the EcoFlow.

[Black] We use this solar panel to recharge the Delta Max 2 instead of using a/c power, takes longer but it’s free power
