A: This product is compatible with all the SWIT V-Lock batteries and 3rd party batteries. You can use other V-Mount Battery brands.

Q: 2. Does this PST-8 digital power station reduce dynnamic in hi-end audiophile equipment?

A: It should not, as long as the equipment does not exceed 1800W.

Q: 3. How much protection will the PST-8 give against nearby lightning strikes? I know everybody says that nothing can protect against a direct strike, but I'm just wondering how much protection I can expect if there was a strike, say, on the transformer across the street.

A: Unfortunately lighting is not a fixed set amount. It is impossible to say how strong a particular strike will be and how far away will be affected.

Q: 6. Can this send lower voltage via the XLR? Wondering if this will work with an Arri Alexa Classic.

A: No. Following unit is rated for 48v at 10amps.

Q: 7. Does it matter if I use the digital outlets with analog equipment or vice versa? Are they all the same in power conditioning or is there a difference??

A: You can plug them into either but that defeats the purpose of using something like the Furman PST-8. For the best results, we recommend using Digital equipment with the digital outlets and analog equipment with the analog outlets.

Q: 9. Are all 8 outlets surge protected? The doc for the pst-8 says that all 8 outlets are filtered and surge protected but the document for the 8d says that 4 are linear and 4 digital without mentioning surge protection.

A: As per the manufacture all 8 outlets are filtered and surge protected.

Q: 10. I get the impression that this unit is inferior to the standard PST-8. Will plugging in analogue devices into the digital outlets produce worse results? Are the digital outlets weaker in some way to the analogue outlets?

A: No, it will not produce worst results. Both the digital and analog labeled outlets would support either type of device.

[7680 Wh] I bought the EcoFlow Delta 2 as protection against a power outage. Not having experienced a power outage since my purchase, I can’t report how well it would perform in one or how long it will last. What I can report on is that it is easy to set-up and connect to my phone and iPad, and it charges remarkably fast. I tested it under a light load (literally, lights), and the discharge rate was minimal. Testing it by connecting a 1450w space heater did drain the battery swiftly, so that’s not a wise use of the unit.
Since gas-powered generators are dangerous, and each winter, there is at least one local news report of someone dying from a gas generator being run in a garage or porch, and they must be refueled every four hours, I feel that this 120v battery is the prudent and inexpensive way to prepare for an outage.

I have yet to test the solar panels I purchased with the Delta 2.

[7680 Wh] I bought this to replace a smaller unit that could not backup my fridges or freezers. It is much lighter and more functional than the Delta 1300 I purchased a few years ago. I prefer the LiFePO battery and it's associated longer life. It does not have as much battery capacity as the Delta 1300, but the inverter appears to be the same. I like the ability to set the charge limit to 70% while using it as a UPS. The UPS functions very quickly and has been running a freezer and some other appliances without problem. It was a little slow to update the firmware when I got it, but it seems to be doing fine now. I don't like that one must connect the device via WiFi to get updates. It wants access to my home network and that is forbidden to the Chinese (and other) companies.

Overall, I like it and it works so far as a UPS for my freezers and fridges.

[7680 Wh] Great portable power when needed. It’s a small package but can power a few essentials when needed. I will be purchasing another with more solar panels for power independence

[7680 Wh] I live in New England and it is possible that we will have rolling black outs this winter which is why we purchased the Delta 2. A wind storm this week knocked over a tree and we were without power for several hours. I was able to hook up lights, my computer, and monitor, my warming throw blanket over my lap and use my phones personal hotspot. This enabled me to continue working. My husband also hooked up our Kerug so we could enjoy some coffee.

[7680 Wh] So far I am loving this sogen. Runs my microwave, and air fryer with no problems. Vacuum cleaner with full power. Tv,router, Roku, washing machine, all without a problem. Tomorrow will hookup pv 400 watts and see how that goes, but so far I am pleased.

[7680 Wh] Honestly, do your research and follow your gut… there are a lot of good products out there, but this unit had just what we were looking for. And, from a company that stands behind it’s products.
