Q: 1. Where are these binoculars entirely made?

Q: 2. Will this fit the Nikon Trailblazer 8 x 25?

A: It fit on Nikon Prostaff and Monarch...

Q: 3. Will they a Nikon Prostaff 3S 10x42?

A: We have not tested these for fit with Nikon products.

Q: 4. 12x50 are they ok hand held?

A: Hand holding the Vortex 12x50 Razor UHD Binoculars BH #VO12X50RUHDB • MFR #RZB-3103 Is more of a personal issue. I know many that have difficulty in holding a 10X stable enough for a good view. Others can hold a 12X stable enough for a good view.

Q: 5. What is the internal diameter of these covers (and why not include that in the Specs tab)?

A: My nominal 50mm covers were 52mm and fit my Crossfire Binoculars perfectly. They must size them for the lens and then account for the housing. However I returned them because my binoculars came with a set, which was not specified as being included when I ordered them. I guess it's better to get more than I expected rather than less.

Q: 6. Will it fit Bushnell binoculars ocular lenses (45 mm diameter)?

A: Unfortunately I don't think so. Those ocular rainguards are for Vortex, Viper and Razor binoculars. Rarely will another companies objective or rainguards covers fit another manufacturers optic's. Covers seem to be very product specific.

Q: 7. Is exit pupils truncated in this binocular as was reported in a couple of reviews?

A: The Vortex 10x50 Razor UHD Binoculars, have been improved, and the Reviews are very positive now.

Q: 8. will this fit a Nikon Monarch 7 10x42?

A: I'm sure they would. They fit my old Nikon Monarchs just fine. These are fairly universal ocular covers and made of nice material; I would recommend them.

Q: 9. what is the inner diameter?

A: Unfortunately the Manufacturer does not supply these Specifications. My apologies.

Q: 10. Will this fit my Nikon Prostaff 7 10x42 binoculars?

A: Yes it will. I, use the item on my 7x42 Monarchs

[12x] Excellent value on a pair of sharp binoculars - don't notice much difference from Swarovski binos and much lighter. They handle quite well too. Very happy with the purchase.

[Roof] I bought the UHD 8x42 to replace my HD's of the same size. The UHD's clearly outperform the HD model, and I consider the $500 price increase to be money well spent. The chief criticism I have read of the UHD is their size and weight, but I can honestly say that I find them easy to hold and use. The 8x42 size has a wider FOV than the older HD's; the optics are exceptionally good, and can compete quite well with the best Euro A-glass brands for about half the price. If you decide to buy the Vector Razor UHD, talk to B&H Photo to get the best price.

[Roof] I did a significant upgrade from my previous pair of Nikon Monarchs. I am glad I did, because these have a much larger field of vision and the clarity is impressive. They are a bit heavier and larger but it’s not an issue so far. The extra detail and colors are worth it.

[50 mm] I have owned a pair of 10x50 HD Razor binos since 2016. The HDs were a real workhorse; nothing wrong with them still. I often bird under extreme conditions and these have been great. But, I wanted to see if the UHDs were really that different.

Well, they are!

As good as the HDs are, the UHDs are a noticeable improvement. They are clear and sharp and the field of view takes on an almost 3D feel; hard to describe, but easy to experience. While they are obviously heavier, I have come to glass with the HDs one handed, with either hand, for hours on end; so far I don't notice any increase in fatigue using the UHDs in a similar mode.

However, what I do notice is that the form factor is longer so my muscle memory needs to adjust a bit. And, they take up noticeably more space hanging from my neck. I don't mind, but I have had to adjust the way I integrate carrying my other gear with the UHDs. I do not use the carrying case but it looks good; it just doesn't fit my usage pattern.

As these are brand new, the focus dial is also tighter than I like for easy of quick focusing on moving birds. We will see if this changes with use. I wear glasses and these are as compatible with my vision needs as the HDs are.

They come with a different/new lens cap style on the ends. First impression is that I don't like them as they are harder to remove quickly and if left uncapped, they hang down even further than the already long body getting in the way of other gear. I will probably just remove them as I did with the caps on the HDs. I do like the top lens cap and it is very much like the cap for the HD.

If you are looking to replace or upgrade your current favorite binos, at the current discounted price point, these are top tier glass at half the cost. Now if Vortex would just launch a UHD spotting scope...

[Roof] Adjustable small enough for my 8 year old and large enough for athletic 46. They sit tight to your chest, doesn’t interfere with your bow. 2 side nets for sunglasses and wind chalk. The bingo in the front is nice and quiet. Highly recommend. Good for all skill levels. Novice to expert. Wether keeping it light on a good day trip or spike camping for multiple day adventures.

For the price, you can’t beat it.

[12x] What surprised me the most about these binoculars was the crystal clear image presented from edge to edge. The result is a much more 3D view of the world with them.

The weight is evenly distributed and the small diameter of the tubes makes it easy to use them hand held for extended periods of time. They are no more difficult to use hand held than by 8x and 10x binoculars.

The 50mm objectives are key to the imaging provided as they provide 41% more light transmission than with 42mm objects and where this is very noticeable is in low light conditions. Excellent performance even at dawn and dusk with excellent color fidelity and no fringing of subjects even when they are backlit.
