The RIG-8HKOR Camera Rig Backpack from Porta Brace is designed to carry large camera rigs fully assembled or with minimal disassembly of the rig components. The frame is constructed using a lightweight hollow-core plastic surrounded by thick foam padding. The unique flared-top shape is designed to accommodate both the removable wheel system at the bottom (narrow) and large matte boxes or rig handles at the top (wide). The lid can be expanded to fit over tall rig handles.

The bottom interior of the case is lined with a soft, anti-skid material that helps keep the rig from sliding inside the case. There are also two tie-down straps that fully secure the camera rig in place during transport. The interior side-walls are lined with touch fastener material so that Porta-Brace Divider Kits (sold separately) can be positioned anywhere inside the case.

The case exterior is made using abrasion-resistant 1000-denier Cordura. There is a layer of anti-skid rubber material along the bottom of the case to add an additional level of waterproofing. The rubber material also makes it easier to clean mud and dirt from the bottom of the case. A large pocket on the lid and several smaller pockets provide space for accessories and cinch straps on the lid can attach a tripod. 

The RIG-8HKOR provides two ways to transport heavy rigs, a removable wheel system and a back pack design with padded lumbar support. The wheels have solid rubber tires, ball bearings and strong steel axles. They can easily removed when not needed to avoid damage. The backpack feature uses breathable mesh material with comfortable padding. A chest strap, weight adjustment straps and waist belt provide comfort and stability.

A: We would say that the interior dimensions are about 24.0 x 15.5 x 19.5 .

A: I would say that the FS5 would easily fit, even assembled. While the bag might be a little big, I find having a bag a little too big is better than a little too small.

Q: 8. Will it hold a Panasonic P2 370 video camera?

A: I got some rough camera dimensions off the internet, and if i got the right camera then this bag can easily carry 2 of those cameras and a bunch of other equipment. I'm 5foot 9 inches and I can almost fit myself in there!

Q: 9. Can you add wheels to these cases? I see an area on the bottom corner where there is velcro. Wondering if an axleand wheels can be threaded through that space and if the velcro is strong enough to hold?

A: You can actually select to have the weels included. They slip into the side with the taller front pocket (right side on the item default picture). There is also a handle that comes included for the case and you carry it similar to a rolling tripod case. For clarification, the FS7 sits on the high side when carrying on wheels, closer to the handle side you hold while wheeling it.The wheels BTW do not have a solid axle. They are on studs. I was a little worried but I ahve my bag LOADED and it has held up pretty well.

Q: 10. I saw this bag on the Porta Brace site, but there are no internal pictures. How does the FS7 fit inside? Can the handle, extension arm, and EVF still be attached. We bought Manfrotto backpacks for our FS7 and the bags aren't deep enough. The camera doesn't fit.
