Smooth focusing adjustments can be made with the 360-degree focusing ring on the lens barrel. A 13-bladed diaphragm helps create smooth and stunning bokeh. The lens's optical design incorporates two aspherical elements, two HR elements, and three ED glass elements, which together provide contrast-rich imagery with minimized flare and ghosting. The STM motor within the lens minimizes focus breathing and creates fast and quiet autofocus, which greatly benefits video applications. Firmware updates can be downloaded via the USB-C port located on the lens mount.

[f/1.2] I love anamorphics, but sometimes budget doesn't allow for rentals. I turned to the Siruis so I could at least have some anamorphics for those lower budget projects, and honestly I was surprised by the incredible quality. Lenses are sharp and easy to use. Flaring is clean and appropriate. Lens is incredibly easy to use and focus. I've found myself using it on more projects even with a budget so I can have the flexibility to put more in my pocket. 0 complaints here. 5

[f/16] Got this lens as well as the 24 and 35mm. Having the GH5 and it being a mft sensor, these lenses really expand the width of footage and keep the height. The flares and bokeh are amazing! 5

[Nikon Z] I have a Nikon Z30 and originally just the kit lens. I wanted something with a lower F-stop and autofocus so I could get more of that “cinematic” (trigger word I know) look to my shots. Primarily I film Tiktoks/Reels for some short form music content for myself. I didn’t want to spent a ton of money and didn’t know where to start and lucky for me I found this lens. I’m very much an amateur and have no idea what I’m doing but if you’re here looking to get something more out of your shots I highly recommend this lens. BUT, before you doing anything at all lens wise GET LIGHTS. Cheap ones are fine I spent $80 on 2 lights and it changed everything. Then after that, if you still feel like you need somewhere to start like me, and on a budget, then this is the product. 5
