Q: 1. How do I connect my new LiDAR range finder AND my RavenEye transmitter so they work at the same time?

A: The DJI LiDAR rangefinder at this time does not support working with the RavenEye image transmitter.

Q: 2. Is this compatible with the old focus motor included in the rc2?

A: The DJI LiDAR Range Finder for RS 3 Pro is only compatible with the RS 3 Pro and the Ronin 4D. It is not directly compatible with any focus motors.

Q: 3. Will this be released as a standalone autofocus system you can put on any camera?

A: This product is a part of the DJI Ronin 4D system it is not capable of working with any other camera system at this time. Only DJI can confirm/deny whether or not they plan to develop new products to work with other camera systems.

Q: 4. can i use this with my fuji xt3 camera?

Q: 5. Is this the same as the new DJI Lidar Pro?

A: The DJI LiDAR Range Finder for RS 3 Pro increases the ranging points from 43.200 to 76.800 ranging points. The additional ranging points would mean the new Lidar focus Pro will be more accurate. Also, the maximum range has been increased from 46 feet to 65 feet. The Lidar Pro also has support for human and vehicle recognition.

Q: 6. Can you power the shotgun with a AA battery or it absolutely need phantom power to work?

A: The Rycote HC-15 Short Shotgun Microphone requires 24V or 48V of phantom power. It will not work with a standard battery. However, you can get a separate phantom power supply that uses a battery. For example, the Xvive Audio P1 Portable Phantom Power Supply with Rechargeable Battery (B&H # XVP1) has a built-in rechargeable battery and it's very easy to use. The Mackie M48 Single-Channel 48V Phantom Power Supply (B&H # MAM48) can be powered by a 9V battery or its included AC power supply. We do have more options. Q: 7. Does it work with other DJI gimbals?

A: The DJI LiDAR Range Finder is only compatible with the DJI Ronin 4D.

Q: 8. It says it has a padded sleeve for a 9.7 inch laptop/tablet and it also says "Holds a DSLR or mirrorless camera, 5 lenses up to 200mm f/2.8, and a 13" MacBook or a 15.6" laptop (similarly-sized laptops)". So is there room for a 15 inch laptop?????

A: That information is incorrect it only fits a 9.7 inch laptop. I will email the web department to fix that.

Q: 9. will this be able to focus with a diopter filter +1 or +2?

A: The minimal focal distance of the DJI LiDAR Range Finder for RS 3 Pro is 0.7m to 1.2m away form the sensor, so as long as the motor is calibrated correctly and the Lidar can see the subject, the DJI LiDAR will be able to pull focus to the subject whether the lens has a diopter mounted to it or not.

Q: 10. What capacity, if any, will the RS2 focus motor work when combined with RS 3 Pro Gimbal? (Combo = RS 3 Pro Gimbal, Lidar for RS, and RS 2 Focus motor)

A: The DJI Ronin Focus Motor for RS 2 and RSC 2 is not listing capability with the DJI LiDAR Range Finder for RS. If looking to pair the DJI LiDAR Range Finder for RS with the DJI RS 3 Pro Gimbal Stabilizer, consider using the DJI RS Focus Motor (2022).

[PoE] Well-built and surprisingly bright for a short range illuminator. My only gripe is the user manual I received, it came in every language except English. I would have preferred more technical information about optimum placement and more intelligible graphs for the various diffusers. Even so, not a big issue. A couple minutes of trial and error and you'll have the neighborhood lit up nicely. Definitely recommend. 5

[PoE] After I bought the first one and seeing how good it was, I ordered 3 more. They are that good for license plate reading. I have to say that I am now in the 99 percentile in reading license plates. I am going to post a picture of a golf cart with a standard California plate. The measured distance is 187 feet. The camera I am using is a Dahua 5442E-Z4E at full extension. I do not recommend using this camera at over 75 feet for license plate gathering. 5

[Black] Bought 2 after other cheaper illuminators were low-light. THey run off a 12 V 7AH battery and the beam means they illuminate objects within 50 ft or more! 5

[Black] I bought a similar version from another manufacture to increase the license plate reading capability of my Dahua 5442E-Z4E license plate camera. It was a nice step in the right direction. So, I decided to up the IR some more and see how that would work. While searching the internet I found this model with double the IR power. I bought one and it was an even bigger success. I can now read close to 100% of the plates. So, I have ordered two more to go in my other locations. By the way, this one draws 1 Amp @ 12vdc of power according to the spec sheet that came with the camera. For comparison the other one draw 4/10 of an amp at 12vdc. I am very impressed with this unit. 5

[Black] Using this to light up the side yard all the way to the back fence, about 90 feet. Just like in Iluminar's youtube videos this thing throws IR light everywhere. I love that a separate camera in a opposite corner that just sees the backyard sees the massive amount of IR light that it puts out. I have this model and the IR148 both are built solid after a year later still waterproof and working fine. 5
