No issues getting everything working on the first try despite the fact I don’t usually install the upgrades in our home. He noticed a difference immediately in boot up time and performance. Nothing bad to say.

[2 TB] Got the SSD a week ago. Was super great full to finally be able to hold more than 6 or 7 games on my PS5 lol. I got the 2tb SSD, and I think that is plenty of storage for the money, especially if you can get it at a discounted price like I did.

My laptop came with 1TB and my computer guy was like you really want to switch the SSD. Of course I said yes. I haven’t noticed any lagging when computer was powered back on. Opening programs are fast and even downloading movies from streaming services is quick. This 520N is marketed for gaming on small devices that are strictly for gaming, but this SSD is very beneficial if you do a lot of high performance things on your smaller and ultra thin laptops. Price seems high, but you’re getting 2TB and I think Seagate priced their product fairly.

If you are using it for the PS5, installation is literally as easy as 1-2-3. It took under a minute to install, and then after rebooting, it will ask you to format which takes less than a minute, and then go into storage options and choose which games you want to use with it. Done! It doesn't get much simpler than that. This has an included heatsink with it, so that was a major plus, and it has worked very well so far. This has truly elevated our gaming experience with the superior performance it gives, and I recommend it to anyone looking into storage options for their gaming device. It is mainly used for laptops, Valve Steam Deck, Asus Rog Ally, or whatever handheld gaming device you currently use that it is compatible with. Some people even use it in their gaming pc's. It is backward compatible with Gen3 and Gen2 PCIe slots. Seagate also includes a complimentary 1 time data recovery service, which could come in very handy! We have been using this for 3 weeks now with no issues. The games are loading exceptionally fast, and we have plenty of storage to last us for the life of the Playstation. I couldn't be happier with it and totally recommend it!
