Q: 1. Is there enough space to open the camera (Sony Mirrorless) slot battery without removing the camera from the ronin?

A: On all the cameras we have been using we have been able to access the battery by sliding by sliding the camera back. Some did not require this, but most did. We can't confirm this is possible with every setup.

Q: 2. Camera Control via Included Cables for Lumix GH4 and GH5?

A: With the GH4 you will be able to start/stop recording video, and capture photo. The GH5/s will be able to start/stop recording video, and capture photo, pull focus (with supported lenses) and adjust camera parameters.

Q: 3. I will be using this with the canon 1DXMii.1. Will I be able to use all full functions with my camera like Timelapse?2. Which cable do I need to connect my camera to the Ronin-S?3. Do I need a specific quick release plate to mount my camera to gimbal? Which plate do you recommend what dimensions ?

A: From the manufacturer, Thank you for contacting DJI technical support.Upon checking Canon EOS-1D X Mark II is compatible with Ronin-S use the MCC Type B cable to make it work. You can also enjoy the pull focus feature by using the agreed and compatible lens that show on the picture below. All feature will work please use the link below to view manual on how to use the other featuresa href= https://dl.djicdn.com/downloads/Ronin-S/Ronin-S%20User%20Manual_v1.0.pdfFinally. target= _blank https://dl.djicdn.com/downloads/Ronin-S/Ronin-S%20User%20Manual_v1.0.pdfFinally./a The following Quick-Release plate would allow you to mount your camera to the gimbal. E-Image EH6P Quick Release Plate B&H # EIEH6P MFR # EH6P.From CanonThank you for contacting Canon regarding your customer's questions about using the EOS-1D X Mark II with the Ronin-S. I will be glad to assist. Here at Canon technical support, we don't have extensive details about how our equipment will work with accessories we don't make. Nor can I claim to be an expert on how the DJI Ronin-S works. That said, I will answer based on the specs I've seen for that device. As far as I can tell, the gimbal does not seem to override the camera's menu options or other features, so someone should still be able to do a timelapse by connecting the optional TC-80N3 to the camera's N3 port on the side. While some of our cameras have built-in time-lapse capabilities, the EOS-1D X Mark II does not. That said, I wouldn't recommend doing a time lapse on a gimbal, since gimbals are designed to allow for fluid motion, while time-lapses work best when the camera is locked down on a sturdy mount. The specs on the Ronin-S indicate that it has mounting that allows a 1 x 1/4 -20 Female Thread, which is what the camera uses. As far as I can tell, you shouldn't need other cables to connect the camera, but you may wish to check with DJI to see if they have additional recommendations. Let us know if we can be of further assistance.Thank you for contacting Canon, and I hope you have a good day. Sincerely,NickTechnical Support Representative

Q: 4. Necesito saber el valor del equipo...si el precio que Uds informan es en dolares ?gracias por su repuesta.. Cuca

A: S, los precios que se muestran en B & H son en dlares.

Q: 5. Can I use the Ronin S to replace Panoramic tripod heads like the Really Right Stuff PG-02 FG Pano-Gimbal Head? I'm just interested in the Panorama and Timelapse features of the Ronin S

A: You will be able to use the Ronin-S in Panorama and Time-lapse modes. Those are great features to have in a Motorized Gimbal. We would not go as far as to call this a replacement for a high quality Pano-Gimbal Head though.

Q: 6. Will this support the GH5+metabones+sigma 18-35mm setup? I know this set-up is under 8lbs but it's very front heavy. Two other gimbals that I have tried should have been able to support its weight on paper, but couldn't in practice due to the front being too heavy.

A: Long lenses like the 18-35mm prevent balance because you cannot get the camera/lens back far enough. We feel that the same situation is here.

Q: 7. Canon 7D will be supported?

A: Yes, the Canon 7D is supported with the Ronin-S.

Q: 8. Can I control the focus on a Nikon D850?

A: According to DJI the pull focus feature will work with the D850 and compatible lenses, after a future firmware upgrade to the Ronin-S. That feature is not available currently, but will be in the future.

Q: 9. Hi, do you know if it would carry an a7s ii with Sony FE PZ 28-135mm f/4 G OSS Lens? I have not seen it in the compatibility list, have you tried by any chance?

A: According to our tests, the Ronin-S can capture stabilized footage with a 5D Mk IV + EF 85mm f/1.4L IS USM lens in handheld scenarios. Your described lens may be too front heavy, but it's hard to say without testing that setup specifically.

Q: 10. Does the Ronin S essentials Kit cable compatibility with Sony a7iii or I have to buy another cable?

A: Unfortunately it does not. You would need to purchase BH #DJRONINP13CB which is the control cable for the Sony A7iii. https://bhpho.to/2KuHQ7Y

[Latch] When I was shopping around for a rolling harsshell case, I was looking at that other brand. However, everyone I asked simply said to get Nanuk. Better casters, better locks, and tons of room for 2 bodies, a bunch of lenses, my gimbal, and tons of accessories. I’ve already dragged it over uneven pavement, potholes and cobblestones without my equipment taking even the slightest knock. I’m looking forward to seeing how it holds up to a real beating, it is a case, and every scratch a memory of a successful shoot.

[Latch] I think these should be the top rated cases.

[Empty] Great case for traveling. Strong and easy to move with the wheels. Easy to remove the foam for the right size of your items. Great Case.

[Universal] I've always used Pelican cases but when I went into B&H to check out hardshell cases, I was drawn to the Nanuk wheeled cases. The latches are great and the handle is much easier to work with.

[Yes] I have been looking for a rolling hard case for a few months now and when BH had this on their Deals I immediately bought it and I knew I made a good purchase. The case is good and I love that PowerClaw latch doesn't snap your fingers off.

[Latch] I usually wait for flash deals/sales on cases from Nanuk and the other guys. These cases can really take a beating. I love it. I haven't always been a fan of their pluck and peel foam because it never separates cleanly. These cases were different, however. I'm not sure if they changed their formula or what, but these pulled apart easy like the other big name brand cases. I love the color options too. I just wish they were all the same price, which is not always the case.

[Black] I love this case. It's sturdy and does what it's supposed to do. I have a bunch of Pelican cases and this one holds up pretty well. No noticeable quality difference after using it for about a month.
I do have to say tho, the accessories for these cases are pricey for no reason.
