Q: 1. B&H specs indicate an 18650 battery in the handle... is this correct?

A: The Ronin-S will use, and include, the BG37 Grip with a Built-In Battery. You will not be able to swap out 18650 batteries from this unit.

Q: 2. I see there is a remote follow focus module, but I can't tell if the motor is visible in the pictures. Is it the Y post that is attached to the base, or is that just to secure the lens?

A: The part connected to the lenses in these photos is the Lens Support. It is not the Follow Focus Module. We do not have the full details on all the accessories for this product yet, please keep an eye on this page though. As we get more information this page will be updated.

Q: 3. Will this work with Fujifilm XE3?

A: With gimbals, there are two compatibility questions: 1. Will the gimbal handle the weight of the camera. The answer is yes on the X-E3. 2. Will the camera connect electronically. The answer is the X-E3 is not on the DJI compatibility list. That means no remote control.

Q: 4. Will the record button functions be supported on the canon 80d?

A: Yes the Ronin S has that compatibility with that camera.

Q: 5. is this compatible with canon rebel t3i?

A: Hi Steven, the Ronin S will work with any Canon Camera, the Focus control won't work, shutter and Start/Stop will work via MX RSS Cable for Canon, if the T3i has the remote control sensor. I use it with my Canon 80D and it works wonders.

Q: 6. The camera compatibility list shows the Canon 6 series as supported - however, in the package, I cannot find a cable that works with the Canon 6D MK II. Does it?

A: Hey David. We've added start/stop and video recording compatibility with the 6D using the included RSS-IR cable.

Q: 7. Does this work with the D810 audio focus?

A: I assume you mean autofocus in which case yes.

Q: 8. Does this come with a warranty?

A: This product has a one year, limited manufacturer's warranty on the gimbal and a 6 month warranty on the motor.

Q: 9. Does the Ronin S essentials Kit cable compatibility with Sony a7iii or I have to buy another cable?

[Universal] It was a good deal ... especially on sale. It comfortably holds my D850 with Tamron 24-70 or 15-30 lens with room to squeeze in an extra battery or card, etc. The latches are particularly stout and won't open accidentally. Overall it's a great case compared to other more expensive brands. I'm not going to throw it off a building but I'm sure it will handle most anything I'm going to subject it to. 5

[Yes] That's not a bad thing. The case is more cubed shaped than anything, so it runs pretty deep. Could probably hold a DSLR with medium sized lens attached, but I actually use it to store and transport a bunch of 970 Lipo batteries that power my LED lighting set up. I chose the color red so that there's less of a chance that I'll leave it behind on a location shoot. The case is totally overdesigned and built, but considering the cost of photo equipment nowadays, that's a good thing. 5
