[55 lb / 25 kg] Light weight aluminum rod, about 5/8-inch diameter (16mm), that can be joined together in series to create a longer rod. I have several of these, they serve many different purposes. They aren't heavy duty (and thus they are light in weight), which is perfect for my needs, holding various objects on set without adding heft or bulk to my grip kit. In comparison to Matthews MICROgrip Rods, these can be secured in any receptacle or mount that accepts a 5/8-inch stud (16mm), whereas Matthews MICROgrip uses a smaller diameter. Both products are good tools, serving different purposes. 5

[9.5" / 24 cm] I used to use a separate NATO rail + 15mm clamp, but now this all integrated into one piece which makes my ZCAM E2 more compact and lighter weight. This is used to mount my follow-focus motor. It also keeps the center of gravity closer to the camera which is easier to balance on a gimbal. The nato rail portion allows me to mount an SSD holder too as my ZCAM E2 can record to SSD. 5

[Metal] Since COVID we are streaming to YouTube but the camera was very near the ceiling and always had the ceiling lights in view and washing out the front of the room. By adding the extender we got rid of looking at ceiling lights and the washout. 5

[Metal] I had been mounting my V-Mount better on top of my rails for a GH5 maxed out rig. I thought it would be best if it was below the rails and this looked like a good solution. I discovered the battery cannot be positioned vertically as shown in the product illustration, it will hit the rails. This is resolved by positioning the battery beyond the rails. A small issue because if it were vertical it would still have to be tilted to remove the battery. Just be aware of this when planning your rig. I pushed my rails forward when rebalancing the rig. On the plus side, the on off button is great. In the past I had to unplug the d-tap when not using the rig. The lens motor controller drained the battery even when the lens motors were off. The on off button disengages the battery from this trickle drain and I no longer have to pull the d-tap splitter every time I am not using the rig. 5
