[Laser Phosphor] We've installed the Sony in our church which struggles with loads of natural light. It replaces an older lamp projector and is much more vibrant with better colour and does a great job.

[2200:1] With a dedicated light controlled movie room with a 170 inch screen 4K resolution is appreciated. After much research, I chose this to replace my Epson. You get native 4K resolution, high contrast and sufficient lumens all at an unmatched value. Could not be happier with my purchase.

[2560 x 1600] This was a move up from an Epson 5030ub, so bulb based 1080p to native 4K laser is quite the jump. I’m projecting on a 135” budget 1.0 gain grey screen and the colors, contrast and brightness are spectacular. I sit about 14’ away and the detail and sharpness of the image is so much better than what I was used to. I love that Epson for what it is but this is in a different league. Having only had the projector for a couple of weeks, I’m still playing with different settings and testing various 4K media with my Oppo so still have to spend more time with this to really get to know it. The only con I’ve noticed so far is it can crush some black detail in difficult scenes but I may be able to tease out some image with some adjustment tweaks, not a deal breaker for me but worth mentioning. Also, my old projector was supposed to have a similar lumen rating and had about 900hr on the bulb but this is significantly brighter. Haven’t put the laser past 60 (50 is default) and won’t need to unless I am keeping some lights on in the room. Last thing is it is much quieter than the old Epson and is mounted right above my head so that is also a big plus, hope it stays this quiet.

[Yes] I bought this to replace my 10-year-old Optoma HD28DSE that recently died. I was hesitant at first because there are few reviews and no decent YouTube video reviews on this model, but I decided to go for it. And wow, the image quality is incredible! With 4K content, this projector looks sharper and more detailed than my Samsung 4K TV. The brightness is also amazing.

In my home theater, I have 8 smart in-ceiling can lights. With my old projector (even with a new bulb), you could barely see the screen with the lights at 50% brightness. With this new projector, I can have the lights at 100% and still get a viewable image. I wouldn’t normally watch it that way, but the fact that it’s possible is unreal to me.

I've only owned this projector for one day, so we'll see how it performs in the long run, but right now, I am stunned and extremely pleased. I hope it holds up well! I can run it without worrying about bulb life hours as well which is huge. GAME CHANGER for sure. SO IMPRESSED!!

[2560 x 1600] So I owned the BenQ LK 970 for over 3 years now and have been looking to upgrade. I had my eyes set on this one but was a little skeptical due to it only used the .47 4 K Pixel Shifting chip. I felt like it was a step back from the bigger .65 chip that the Lk 970 used. Also it only had 2600 Lumens vs the 5,000 the LK had as well. Well after using this projector for over a week and already watched 15 4K movies on it I am beyond blown away. This is the sharpest and most color accurate projector I have ever owned. The brightness contrast and clarity is terrific. And comparing the 4K pixel shifting to my JVC NX7 which is a actually real native 4K projector. I can even tell the difference in quality. This is a terrific projector. I’m sure I will enjoy this for years to come.

[Yes] I bought this to replace my Sony VPL-PWZ10, that wore out its laser. This was a comparable projector, with a few upgrades. Most notable was the contrast is much improved as is the picture clarity. B&H offers the best purchase experience. I order it on a Friday afternoon in Colorado, and they shipped it on Monday, and I got it on Tuesday. It was a pleasure to deal with a reputable company after ordering it from another company and waiting 2 weeks.

[20,000:1] Its a brighter version of the 6200Lumen that was very popular. The 1.09 lens makes this projector the shortest throw super bright without the short throw optical issues.
