Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Anyone try this case with a 200mm f/2 lens?

A: The Canon 200mm f2 lens attached to a camera will easily fit in the Kinesis C850 Extra Large Holster Case. The C850 features a 16 inch height, and the 200mm lens is 9 inches long.

Q: 2. Will the Kinesis C850 hold a Z8 w/1.4 converter and Nikon Z180-600 lens attached?

A: The Kinesis C850 Extra Large Holster Case (Black) will fit the Z8 with the 180-600mm lens. Adding the teleconverter would be just a little too tight and I would not recommend it.

Q: 3. How is the camera suspended in the holster? Or does it just rest on the end of the lens/hood?

A: It would depend on the length of the lens but in most cases the front of the lens touches the bottom of a holster case. The lens hood should be in the reverse position when put into a case.

Q: 4. Can it accommodate z8 + Nikon FTZ II Adapter + Nikon Teleconverter TC-14E III + Nikon 500mm f/5.6E PF Lens attached?

A: The Nikon Z8 Mirrorless Camera with the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR 0.9 Lens, Nikon FTZ II Mount Adapter, and Nikon AF-S Teleconverter TC-14E III attached does not fit in the Kinesis C600 Holster Case (Large). Instead, get the Think Tank Photo V3 Digital Holster 150 (XX-Large), BH #THDH150V3.

Q: 5. Will this fit sony 200-600 with a7rv attached?

A: The Sony a7R V Mirrorless Camera with the Sony FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS Lens attached will not fit in the Kinesis C600 Holster Case (Large).

Q: 6. It can fit Canon 5D4 with grip and 70-200 2.8 ?

A: Yes, the Kinesis C600 Holster Case (Large) would be able to hold the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR Camera and the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS III USM Lens. It is also large enough to accommodate the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV if you later chose to add the Canon BG-E20 Battery Grip for EOS 5D Mark IV to the camera.

Q: 7. will the kinesis c850 hold a nikon z8 with a nikkor z 180-600mm attached?

A: The Kinesis C850 Extra Large Holster Case (Black) can hold a Nikon Z8 with the Nikon NIKKOR Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 VR Lens attached.

Q: 8. Will this hold the K-1 with 150-450 and hood reversed? And if so, could a small prime and battery fit in a side pocket also?

A: Yes, the K1 and the 150-450mm lens will fit with the hood reversed. I certainly thing a small prime lens and battery would fit in the side pocket.

Q: 9. Will this fit sony 200-600 with sony a7rv attached?

A: The Kinesis C600 Holster Case (Large) is 12.25 inches long internally, so unfortunately it won't fit that camera and lens combination.

Q: 10. Would it fit Sony 7R IV with Tamron 35-150 mm f/2 with a hood attached ?

A: Yes, Sony 7R IV with Tamron 35-150 mm f/2 with a hood attached will fit inside the Kinesis C600 Holster Case (Large).

[0.595 lb] I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my husband, a professional photographer. He needed a lens case for his Nikon 70-200 mm lens. At first we thought it was too big, but it fits the lens with the tripod mount attached just perfectly. He's used it without any problems on a photo shoot. It fits nicely on his Spider belt and enables him to switch between his 24-70 mm and the 70-200 mm flawlessly.

[Cordura/Foam] I bought this to replace an old worn out case I have had for eons. It far exceeds my expectations. It not only fits the 300mm AIs lens I bought it for but I can leave the tripod collar on and it still fits in the case ready to go. I have other lenses for which I'll eventually need cases and this will be the brand I choose. This will allow me to take advantage of the the Kinesis system for all these lenses!

[Cordura/Foam] Well made, sturdy case. Nice snug fit for my Nikon Z 70-200 f 2.8 zoom (with lens hood reversed). Lens also fits with tripod collar foot on. Carrying loop is well sized and well positioned. Bag will stand upright on its own which is nice.

[0.595 lb] I've been a Kinesis fan for the past 15 years when I started doing media (photography and videography) as a one man band for a non-profit. My first Kinesis purchase was a tripod bag for my Gitzo G1325 carbon fiber tripod with a Markins ballhead, and the bag has protected them so well they both still look brand new. As an avid backpacker I appreciate the design and build quality of all of Kinesis products. So when I purchased a new SONY FS-100 camcorder that required all new 77mm Breakthrough Photography UV, ND and C-PL filters I also needed a new filter bag to protect this investment. I had an extremely short list for a new bag: Kinesis. The F103 is the perfect compact size and the build quality is outstanding. I feel my filters are fully protected with the interior sleeves. Really like the labeling system so you know precisely at a glance where each filter is parked. Oh yeah, it's Henry Ford approved: you can have any color you want so long as it's black. If you want gear that is both functional and built to last look no further than Kinesis.

[Cordura/Foam] I've been looking for something good and convenient to carry my GND and other filters in. This goes on my belt and sips conveniently into a spot in my camera bag.

[0.595 lb] So far it's been sturdy. Though I didn't receive the cloth cover in the photo.

[0.595 lb] Well made, well padded. I am storing my Nikon 14-24 F2.8 (with lens hood on, and cover) in this case, and it is large enough (height) for my Nikon 70-200 F2.8 or my Nikon 300 F4. Very pleased.
