Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this case hold a Nikkor 70-200 vertically ?

A: I have a nikkor 70-200 2.8E. It "fits" but just barely. For travel I feel it unsafe and could likely cause damage to the lense if there's any impact or deflection on the lid of the case.

Q: 2. How big is the exterior pocket? Will it accommodate the Manfrotto 322RC2 grip action ball head? It's about 9 long by 3.5 in diameter at the widest point.

A: The useable pocket space is about 5 3/8 (zipper down to pocket bottom) x 8 3/4 (across inner side seams) - the pocket itself being bit larger. My tripod fits well into the bag but does not allow much give to the pocket depth. Hope this helps. Pleased with quality of the bag.

Q: 3. Would the 1535 TrekPak fit in a Nanuk 935 case?

A: This would work in the Nanuk 935 if you notch the corner of the TrekPak for the wheels in the Nanuk.

Q: 4. please tell me the dimension of this product ?

A: Hi--the exterior dimensions are 14.2 x 11.4 x 6.5" / 36.1 x 29 x 16.5 cm; the interior dimensions are 13 x 9.2 x 6" / 33 x 23.4 x 15.2 cm

Q: 5. How thick is the base foam?

A: The base foam included with TrekPak Divider Kit for Pelican 1535 Air Case is 11mm thick.

Q: 6. I have a pelican case that came with atomos ninja flame bundle. Will this fit inside, if not, what would fit?

A: No, this TrekPak Divider Kit for the Pelican 1535 Air Case cannot fit the hard case originally included with the Atomos Ninja Flame bundle.

Q: 7. Will it fit a phantom 4 with all the accessories?

A: I just looked up the specs and based on what I found I think it would barely fit the drone by itself. I would recommend the pelican 1560 instead as it should comfortably fit both the phantom 4 and any extras you need.

Q: 8. Given the dimensions I plan to keep both Nikon 800mm and the Nikon 400mm f2.8 in the case. Will they both fit. To keep these two less should I go for this case or 1615 tp case

A: I would recommend the 1650 case.

Q: 9. I want to use this in an Pelican IM2720. dimension of 22 x 17 x 10. will this fit? I may have to add a small foam to the bottom of my case.

A: The Pelican 1615 Padded Divider Set for 1610 Series Cases is designed for the Pelican 1610 Case. This case is 21.8 x 16.7 x 10.6". So it should fit but will not be the exact correct size when used in the Pelican IM2720.

Q: 10. Will a Nikkor 24-120 f/4 fit?

A: Yes, the Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-120mm f/4 S Lens (Nikon Z) will fit in the Nanuk 918 Case with Foam Insert for Set of Six Lenses (Graphite).

[Handheld Only] I recently got the N-PVD 30L backpack but I'm not a fan of the tough, deep dividers and wanted something shallower that would better fit my small lenses, and have softer more flexible dividers to keep them from moving around.

I purchased two of these and stack them on top of each other inside the N-PVD 30L backpack. This is a tight but fairly perfect squeeze. Although they are decently well built, I doubt this method will last forever (the bottom of the divider insert is hard styrofoam and does not seem designed to have things pushing up against it), at least compared to the proper method of using Cubik organizers. It would be great to see Nanuk perhaps make a shallow Cubik option in the future which could stack like this but with lids/better durability.

This organizer will hold uncaged Sony FX3/FX30 or rangefinder style cameras upright or just about any mirrorless/DSLR camera lying down (it won't fit most cameras with viewfinders upright). It is great for holding small to medium size lenses lying down, large diaphragm microphones of all types, portable recorders, most batteries, etc. I was able to fit 3 cameras, 2 large microphones, alternative lenses, a small mic preamp, and several batteries in the two dividers without mentioning the top, back, or exterior storage of the 30L backpack.

[4.1 lb] Anything rates better or worse upon comparison.
We are all used to padded dividers be it in camera bags, slingshots, backpacks etc., so even for a case like the Nanuk (which is superb) padded dividers are far better than foam.
Also, once you use the foam insert, the compartments cannot be changed, unlike the padded divider that you can and will alter to your needs.
So whenever buying a case (such as the NANUK 935, which is absolutely gorgeous) opt on the one with padded divider.
Excellent quality, BTW.

[Black] From Nanuk, so it fits perfectly. Plenty of dividers, fuzzy interior so dividers can be adjusted exactly where needed. Light color to easily see small parts down inside. Comes pre-assembled, so I just dropped it in and ready to go. Good choice for the Nanuk 935.

[4.1 lb] Much better the foam insert for the DSLR. Gives us several different options of how we want to organize the lenses and camera bodies.

[4.1 lb] The foam is fine for case content that will not change over time along with a more finely tuned shape. However; The padded divider can yield more years of service and changes to configuration.

[Handheld Only] I originally had the pluck foam. It was fine, but felt I needed more flexibility. That's where the dividers came in. It allows me to customize the case for anything. Highly recommend.

[Black] Bought this to go into my Nanuk case to allow for changes to my gear as I take them on shoots. I use the foam inserts in all the others, but customize this case with the required gear I wish to take out. Great quality, not cheap, but makes the whole Nanuk case experience great.
