This B-mount Core SWX Helix Max 147Wh Battery + GT8 Charger Kitfrom Core SWX Helix Max 147Wh Battery + GT8 Charger Kitexpands upon the features of the Hypercore NEO series by adding simultaneous, 14 and 28V dual-voltage capabilities for a complete onboard system with high-voltage performance. A nearly lossless transmission and a maximum load of 20A at 16.8V or 10A at 33.6V makes this battery ideal for powering more demanding equipment builds in cine and broadcast applications.

The Helix Max draws minimal current at its maximum voltage, creating less heat and extending the runtime and longevity of the battery. A D-Tap aux output and USB output can power other accessories from monitors to mobile devices. Integrated into the battery's design is an LCD screen to monitor the runtime and total battery percentage. Adding the separately available Helix hot-swap plate can double the available battery capacity and runtimes. An aluminum release lever ensures long-term durability.

[5 V] RED redesigned the mounting plate for V-mount batteries and this battery sits just 1cm too flush to the IO module causing incorrect fitment. Talking about the RED Scarlet-W with V-Lock IO module. 5

[2.675 lb] Swapped to this plate from old v-mount plate on an Alexa XT. Working well and the Anton Bauer Dionics sit snugly on the back without any play. Battery info is transmitted to the camera display, which is also nice. A good upgrade! 5

[5 V] Given the limits on size and number of Li-Ion batteries you can travel with on a plane this is the charger I have been waiting for: in most use cases it allows you to charge batteries faster than you can discharge batteries - with a few catches. It can draw up to 8 amps so you need a decent circuit to plug into. Also it's not the most inexpensive charger in the Core lineup but I think it could pay for itself with this kind of performance. Recently had a day on Steadicam powering an Alexa 35 with a Teradek Bolt 6LT and Arri focus motor. We were able to rotate between just two 150wh batteries the whole day. It was great. One nit pick: the fuse holder on the back protrudes a bit and isn't the most sturdy. It just got catch on the foam in a case and broke a retaining clip. Easy fix and pretty simple to work around. As long as it holds up this is The One! 5

[2.675 lb] This battery is much smaller, lighter, and more efficient than the previous model. It is even more compact and light than it appears online, and it fits the DSMC2 profile perfectly. My one complaint is that the display on the back can not be shut off manually. 5

[33.6 VDC] Bought this for my RED Epic and I couldn't be more impressed with the battery's performance. It is able to handle the camera and accessories with rock solid performance. Lasts almost 2 hours before a battery change. As my 98's wear out I will be sure to continued to replace them with the 150's. 5

[5 V] We've used a lot of V-mount batteries with various profiles for RED cameras, gimbals and lighting kits. I ordered 1 of these new batteries to test out and 10 minutes after it was delivered I turned around and ordered 3 more!
