[100 W] just works, even with large wattage chargers

[10' / 3 m ] There is a secret no one tells. The batteries that fit the DJI Air 3 drone and that give a much longer performance than older drones take forever to charge with a regular charger—sometimes as much as 12 hours a battery. If you are anxious to get flying two days in a row, and particularly, if you have say, a Fly-more kit with three batteries, you will be watching the blinking light for a long time.

DJI says nothing much about this in their sales literature and it is only rarely mentioned in forums. Why don’t people speak out? What Air 3 owners need is a 100W charger. One wonders why DJI doesn’t include the charger in its Fly-more package.


This item was a special order and non-returnable. It took more than a month to arrive. During this period I grew so frustrated with being unable to fly that I purchased a 100 watt charger for a laptop that worked, but I finally got the official charger and it worked.


Perhaps DJI should have called the Air 3 Fly-more package that doesn't include this charger the Fly-less package.

[5 A] I Bought the Mavic Cine bundle earlier this year. It came with a charger much like a standard charger for a phone or similar. This 100w replaced the OEM charger that shipped with the Mavic. It's a HUGE upgrade, and in my opinion should be shipped as standard equipment and NOT an accessory. I'm guessing charging time has improved 4x's faster.
You do not need to upgrade the (3-slot) battery holder part of the charger, just the adapter.


If your shopping for a new DJI product, check the specs to see what charger ships with it - If this one is compatible but not offered, go ahead and order it.


Pro Tip - You can use the orignal charger for your RC while you charge the batteries in the 100W adapter.

[Passive] I have a lot of the older non-braided Apple USB-C cables, and I'm glad that they made a braided version of this. The braided one have been lasting me a lot longer than the old non-braided cables. It seems like the sheathing material is more durable on these. I haven't had to replace any of my braided Apple cables yet and have been using them since they first came out. They also seem more flexible than the old cables. The old cables used a plastic material that tended to swell and soften for some reason and then split. These don't have that problem.

[Black] Bought an Apple Charging cable at B & H. The best part about that purchase, is getting advice from the knowledgable team members at B & H. They obviously talk to the reps, and look deeper into the products they sell, instead of just reading the labels. Good product, great store.
