The modular capsule attaches to the MMP-F preamplifier. When used with a DPA microphone capsule it provides power for podium, floor stand, or table top microphone. The MMP-F provides and XLR output and 48V phantom power via an external source. It features impedance balancing with active drive and has excellent radio frequency rejection. A: We use this mic with a wireless mic base unit that is part of System10 from Audio-Technica. The mic base is the phantom p/s. The combination provides good and clear service for our needs. We use it as a podium mic.
