A: While the Ronin-S is designed for use with Mirrorless and DSLR cameras you may be able to balance a small camcorder on it as well. However you may not have the same level of control over the range of motion when using the product. We tend not to recommend it.

Q: 5. is it ok to leave a camera attached when not in use or is it bad for the motors/frame?

A: I dont have concrete evidence to a yes or no answer, but when I am using it and set it down or take a break, I leave the camera on with the motors off, but if the gimbal is no longer in use for a longer period of time, id then obviously take te camera off.

A: Although we have not tested this specific plate, the Ronin S is currently only compatible with its own plate and select B&H plates.

A: This gimbal has an 8 pound load capacity. It will be able to handle those lenses on an A7III very well.

Q: 8. any ideas on attaching a monitor?

A: Currently there are no official accessories that make monitor mounting possible. It's possible there are 3rd party options that exist to accomplish this, especially considering the bottom 1/4 20 mount.

Q: 9. Does the head have or need a level to make sure the camera shot level with the horizon?

A: The Freewell FW-T1 Carbon Fiber Real Travel Tripod with Ball Head does not have a built-in bubble level. A: Hi Ryan! Both Matthew and Ben made solid points. I would say the battery grip would be the most troublesome part of your kit because of the added height. I also wanted to mention that if you shoot mostly on the wide end, the Ronin SC might also accommodate your set up, although the Ronin S has more wiggle-room for larger lenses and combinations.
