A: The Ronin-S is not an option we recommend for a camcorder the size of the CX350. It will not balance properly.

Q: 3. Does this gimbal support a Sigma 14-24mm f/2.8 ART and Zeiss Batis 85mm f/1.8? I’m using a Sony A7iii. Having a hard time finding out, thanks!

A: This gimbal has an 8 pound load capacity. It will be able to handle those lenses on an A7III very well.

Q: 4. Can you change the ratio of the focus wheel, to the focus motor? I am thinking photo lens with short focus through can be hard to get precision focus with a 1:1 wheel

A: Yes you can there are two ways one is manual the other way is to change the setting of the brain or change the position sensor setting you can have multiple focus points that will enable to different ratios

A: Yes, the Ronin-S will work well with a camera that has a lens adapter equipped, connecting to the lens adapter or to the camera body directly.

A: The Ronin-S comes stock with the focus wheel and will be able to control some camera and lens setups listed in the compatibility list.

Q: 7. I know the Ronin-S is intended to be used with DSLR or mirrorless cameras, but would it be possible to use it with a Sony FDR-AX700 camcorder?

A: While the Ronin-S is designed for use with Mirrorless and DSLR cameras you may be able to balance a small camcorder on it as well. However you may not have the same level of control over the range of motion when using the product. We tend not to recommend it.

A: Although we have not tested this specific plate, the Ronin S is currently only compatible with its own plate and select B&H plates.

Q: 9. Can the Canon C100 work on the Ronin-S as far as weight and setup? I also have a prime cinema lens. Weight capacity may be 8lbs

A: Ive used it witch the c100 mk2 and it worked find. Kept the hand grip off but the top grip with the mic was on too with a shotgun mic and a monitor. It holds some weight
