[3600 mAh] I am the operations manager for a security company in North Carolina and I purchased this camera back when it was first released on the market as a replacement for the DrivePro Body 10 that I lost during an altercation at our nightclub contract.

When it was first released, I experienced a few issues with the DrivePro Toolbox but I expected that as it was a new product for Transcend. The problems I experienced were quickly rectified by Transcend as the camera picked up more users.

The only problem I have is with the app; however, it's not a deal breaker for me I prefer to have everything on the computer so I can transfer it to a flash drive to submit to the police and courts as evidence.

Compared to the Body 10, which is a great camera itself, the Body 30 is far superior. With Image Stabilization and Auto IR turned on you are guaranteed to never miss what you intend to record as the IR only activates in extremely low lighting. With Stealth Mode activated you can sneak up on situations to determine what's going on before anyone involved in the situation even knows that you are there or you can turn it on to trick someone into thinking that you have stopped recording.

All in all, I love this camera and am looking forward to continuing to use it in the field.

As a side note for the people who are complaining about the beeping and buzzing the camera makes being audible in their recordings, that is not limited to this camera. I work closely with Officers from CMPD and they have told me that the AXON (Taser) body cameras that they are issued do it as well.

[Black] B&H was fantastic, one of the cameras inop. Transcend's warranty policy a mess. I pay to have it sent back. No timeline on return. Will just order from the Jungle.

[14.1 Hours] Here's how to use it: Hold the power button down for 2 seconds and it turns ON and starts buffering video. When something happens, double click the same button and recording starts. When the incident is over, double click the same button once more. At the end of the day, plug the camera into your computer's USB port with the cable provided and the files show up in file explorer just like a thumb drive. Copy/Paste/Delete as normal. Could not be easier. Picture is great!

[3600 mAh] Some complain of its weight, it has big batteries giving the absolute longest recording time of 10 hours and more. Others complain how when uploading recorded files the user cannot delete files freely, since integrity of the user must be at its highest there should be zero access to delete any files. The rugged body and solid nature give a huge amount of confidence. My team has made several purchases of this particular camera and are fully pleased by its performance. I am certain once you check other cameras and the specs offered you will agree this unit is above those others.

[160 x 80] We are a developer of command and control software and often buy various brands of IP cameras to test with our software suite. This camera was an addition late last year and we've actually deployed it on our property (mostly for testing). We cannot say enough about Axis products... this camera works as advertised and was easily integrated into our software. It is ONVIF compliant and provides crystal clear video.


We are located in Florida and rarely use the defogging feature, but we would love to have self cleaning optics (a feature starting to appear on high end IP cameras) since the camera is located nearly 30 feet in the air making it difficult to clean... but that is the only thing we had in the wish it had it column.


Overall a highly versatile and functional PTZ IP camera... we highly recommend this one!
