Thunderbolt 4 is a hardware interface that utilizes the reversible USB-C connector and features a maximum throughput of 40 Gb/s when used with compatible devices. The connector also transmits data via USB4 at up to 20 Gb/s, and dual-bandwidth DisplayPort allows you to connect either one 8K monitor or up to two 4K displays simultaneously. Additionally, you can daisy chain up to six devices from a single Thunderbolt 4 port.

Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) support provides access to the less congested 6 GHz band with compatible wireless networks. The 2.5G Ethernet port provides a fast and reliable wired internet connections.

Enhance your workflow by connecting up four displays through the dual HDMI and two Thunderbolt 4 ports.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this compatible with the bh-30 or bh-40?

A: Yes, the RRS BH-30 or BH-40 would be fine to use with the Ascend-14 Compact Travel Carbon Fiber Tripod.

Q: 2. Will this fit a 16in. MacBook Pro?

A: Yes the Tether Tools Aero Traveler Pro will fit a 16" MacBook Pro

Q: 3. is it compitable with mac?

A: The mixer will connect to most computers with the proper analog cable connections. There is no direct communication with the computers OS that will require compatibility.

Q: 4. How do I get the copylight onto the holder that slides onto the horizontal bars? It appears the round piece should slide all the way into the round section on the edge of the copylight and then the knob secures it, but I can't get it to go past the edge of the inside hole (if that makes any sense). Thanks for your help.

A: If you are still having an assembly problem, try to completely remove the tightening nob on horizontal bar, that may give you the clearance you need. If all else fails, try getting Tech Support at Beseler You may replacement parts. Their Number is 800-237-3537

Q: 5. I intend to use this product with my RRS BH-55 Ball Head with Lever-Release Clamp. Are these two compatible with each other? As opposed to the screw knob model, the clamp model is not adjustable. I am worried that the clamp will not close all the way if it’s too tight or it may be a loose fit. Thanks in advance.

A: Unfortunately, we cannot confirm if the Kirk QRLB-T Universal Quick Release Tall L-Bracket would be compatible for use with the Really Right Stuff BH-55 Ball Head with Full-Size Lever-Release Clamp. According to Really Right Stuff's website, only Really Right Stuff and Wimberley plates and rails are guaranteed to work with Really Right Stuff lever-release clamps. Kirk Arca-type plates would be compatible for use with the Really Right Stuff screw-type clamps, but they do not indicate compatibility with the lever-type clamps.

Q: 6. Is this l-bracket suitable to use with for a Fuji XT4?

A: Yes it fits the Fuji XT4 with battery grip and also an arca compatible plate must be connected to the grip.

Q: 7. I intend on using this for rare book photography. Do the lights in this kit provide even lighting?

A: I use this kit for photographing moth and butterfly specimens. Since the specimens are pinned, they sit about an inch above the base of the background. I've had an issue with shadows and have had to bring in external lamps to eliminate the shadows. As long as your subject is flat on the base, you shouldn't have too much of an issue. It is convenient that the kit allows the light arms to move around, so you can tweak them to make the lighting just right.

Q: 8. Built-in effects?

A: No

Q: 9. where is the tap to" turn the taps to convert the speaker to a The speaker 32W? "with externally adjustable taps at 8, 16, and 32W for use with distributed sound systems

A: The switch is located on the underside of the “domed” section of the head unit near outer edge.

Q: 10. Is the gain from this mixer sufficient for use with vintage ribbon microphones, such as the RCA77Dx? Thanks.

A: Tough to tell. I use a Heil PR 40 and do have to crank up the gain a bit. Great mixer and clean sound. Its worth giving it a try.

[Integrated] Bought this to use as my HTPC. It is powerful enough that I ditched my main desktop (3rd gen. i5 with 4 cores) in favor of this. It has fast ethernet, WiFi and bluetooth. The processor can reach 4.5 GHz turbo frequency. A total of 8 cores are visible in Windows 10. Every application runs faster compared to my desktop (which was not
a slow animal). There are slots for a 2280 and 2242 NVMe plus one 2.5 SSD. The 2242 connector is specified for B-key which is not common in current marketplace. I am running two HDMI displays at 4k@60Hz. The box is about as warm as my palm - can't feel any higher or lower temperature. Two USB-B ports in the front and 2 in the back. Two USB C ports also in the back. Power supply is 90W. I am happy with this purchase. I will recommend this without hesitation.

[5.3] Using this as a desktop replacement. It works great!

[2x HDMI 2.1] I have owned two previous NUCs and I am absolutely delighted with this one! It's fast, well-built and runs cooler / quieter than my earlier NUCs.

One thing you might want to know is that I had a few hiccups with installing both Windows 11 and various Linux Distributions, as they are still rolling out support for this NUCs latest hardware. Yet, I am sure that they will soon have this corrected.

Over all, I was able to get both Windows and Ubuntu Linux working beautifully on it.

[24 MB] The Intel NUCs hit in (almost) every way for a mini PC. If you can use a small but powerful machine, definitely consider one of these. Here at B&H I got the barebones i3 kit (without the drive or any memory) and installed MS Windows, memory, and the drive myself.

Two tips for self-installers based on the other reviews: 1) Pressing the power button for three but *not* four seconds takes you to a menu allowing you to set options like boot order, make sure LAN is turned on, etc. 2) If installing Windows 11, you might only need to download the wireless driver to a USB and run the driver installer from there after Windows install to get connectivity. Afterwards, Windows Update will help you take care of the rest of the drivers, BIOS updates, etc.

[5.3] 12 cores, 16 threads..then add 1 TB M.2 SSD & 64 GB RAM..all in a package smaller than an old-school alarm clock. Open by loosening the four feet screws & very carefully open it up so as to not rip out the ribbon cable connecting the two halves. I wish they had models with at lease three network connectors so I can roll my own pfSense firewalls.

[2x HDMI 2.1] Among several NUC's at home, I replaced a 5th gen NUC with this 13th gen model. It serves as a media center for my music and photo collection, hence the 1 TB SSD and 16 GB memory. For those unfamiliar with the Intel NUC product line, they are small (4x4), very quiet, well-engineered and supported by a three-year warranty. Over the years, I have installed dozens for customers and not a single one has failed so far. The performance is impressive. The clip that keeps the power cord from inadvertently being yanked out is a fairly recent and useful addition. Intel has excellent documentation (assembly instructions, product specs) that I recommend. During installation of Windows 11, neither the wired Ethernet nor the Wi-Fi adapter were recognized which required an Ethernet-to-USB adapter. Others may add the network drivers during installation. Installing the Intel Driver & Support Assistant gets the optimal BIOS, firmware and drivers in place. Now that Intel has sold the NUC line to Asus, I hope that they will continue the development and support of this great product.

[2x HDMI 2.1] Since this device is so new, the device driver for Wi-Fi and Ethernet is not in the installation software for the operating system. You must connect an external USB Wi-Fi so that it can download the device driver from the internet. Other than this hiccup, everything works fine. I bought three.

[Integrated] I see one reviewer had issues with the WiFi at first. The key is to download the Drivers in advance, if possible, to a thumb drive (BIOS update, Chipset, LAN, WLAN, Audio, Graphics, etc).

As we know, Gen-13 is Intel's final offering. (I also own the i7-1370P version, increasing core and thread count.) Gen's 11-13 use a P (performance) cpu instead of a U (mobile) cpu. I also own gen 8 and 10 units and they function very well. The latest units are very robust and utilize updated protocols.

The OEM manufacturers are already charging Much more, so it's time to find an Intel while they're still available.

I have compared this NUC13 i7 unit to many other mini PC's on the market, but the Intel NUC has, I believe, the best (and updated) features overall including TB4 and USB4, WiFi AXE. And the M.2 SATA port is an added bonus.
