The Synco X-Talk X9 is a full-duplex wireless intercom system engineered to provide clear communication in a comfortable true-wireless design with no bodypack or hub required. This configuration includes 9 rugged, single-ear headsets, and Synco's MasterFree algorithm conveniently allows you to use any of the headsets as the master. A: You can use any USB wall charger with the Synco WAir-G2-A2 Ultracompact 2-Person Digital Wireless Lavalier Microphone System, like you would use to charge a smartphone. A: The Synco WAir-G2-A2 PRO 2-Person Wireless Microphone System's clips can slot into a cold shoe for on-camera mounting.

A: No. The transmitters included with the Synco G3 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone/2-Way Intercom and Recorder System have a built-in microphone but do not have a separate input to connect an external lavalier microphone.

Q: 6. Are these mono or stereo?

A: The output from the receiver is dual mono. The connector is 3.5mm TRS and sends a combined signal with both mics to your camera or recorder. The audio is the same on the left and right sides.

Q: 7. I know theres a new one coming with the screen that would show levels and battery level. I think it will be the same but does this have a way to mute one?

A: No, the Synco WAir-G1-A2 transmitters do not have a mute switch to mute the audio while the wireless system is in use.

Q: 8. Does it need some sort of phantom power can I plug it into a mixer or sound system without it?

A: The Synco WAir-G2-A1 Ultracompact Digital Wireless Microphone System for Mirrorless/DSLR Cameras (2.4 GHz) operates on its own battery power. Phantom power or plug-in power from the mic input is not required. The rechargeable battery is built in, and a charging cable is included in the box.

Q: 9. because they indicate that the battery lasts 8 hours, when in reality it lasts only 3 hours, I just bought the equipment and that disappoints me

[150 Hz to 7 kHz] I have two of these kits and just purchased an third for my husband's church (their pandemic audio is horrid). I'm a videojournalist and use these on nearly every story for interviews or for close-up audio (by placing the transmitter near the audio source). They are easy to place and very unobtrusive. I also have a Rode kit which has superior audio quality...but these days most people don't seem to be able to tell the difference. In addition to placing on talent/interview subject I also use with a Sennheiser shotgun either handheld or on a boom (with XLR to mini adapter). I'd say for 90% of shoots these do a great job. You'll notice in the photo I do not always hide the mike...at times shooting stories in the field time is limited, so in this case I just clipped it on to the subject for both interview and NATS. 5

[2.5 Hours] I use Sennheiser, Sony and even the Rode wireless systems. It's not those. But, it does work & sound pretty decent, as long as you're near the subject. It always feels better have a backup in the camera cases when they go out in the field, and this fills the bill without breaking the budget. Also, the case & accessories make it a very good deal. 5

[1050 mAh] I will start off saying I used to use a lot of UHF systems easily over $1,000 each. Back then that was the best option. For years I resisted going wireless after the whole FCC wireless bandwidth fiasco suddenly made a ton of UHF systems illegal to use. Never really considered FM or even a low cost option as anywhere close to usable until I started seeing glowing reviews for this wireless system. First of all they are tiny. A fraction of the size of wireless kits we used to pin on people. They actually work as well. I have not used them in complex field situations yet but I'm impressed how well they work. I tested them out from one end of my house to another going through at least six walls and they worked without a hitch. The two channel system is practically flawless. Lav quality itself may not have the widest frequency range but it beats the pants off not having any mics at all or thinking a shotgun mounted to a camera ten feet away will somehow pull off a miracle. if you have the means to get a shotgun a few inches to a few feet away from the subjects mouth then yes do that. If not then this is a really solid solution. I also love that it uses 3.5mm so just about anything you can think of could be turned wireless. Music players, sound boards, DJ mixers, a computer output you name it. A locking connector could be nice for some but I like that just about anything can be plugged into this. The case and included cables are the coolest gear setup I have even see with a wireless system. Everything has a place and its a nice compact ready to go kit. 5
